Hoosier Lotto
I mean seriously with this lotto. When do they want this to get hit? Probably never. The amount of money that are raking in with just increasing the annuity 500k a roll which is probably only like 300k in actual money is absurd. This is unreal.

New Jackpot Winners
The Texas winner took the annuity though that's the default choice unless you mark otherwise on your ticket. I hope the Maryland winner signed the back of his ticket in case someone steals it from him before Tuesday when is supposed to go to the Lottery Headquarters to get his ticket verified.

$400,000,000 Threshold
Instead of inflated annuity amounts you should ask if any jackpot will hit $200 million in cash. For Powerball the answer would be no. Mega would have to roll one more time. There is no way either game makes it to $250.

Lottery winner goes from rags to riches to rags
He hasn't posted for perhaps a year or so. My guess is that a lottery winner decided to take the annuity and he had a stroke.

Lottery winner goes from rags to riches to rags
This story is worse than most because he and his girlfriend/wife were both serious druggies, but plenty of other people have followed a similar path. I don't think he spent it on drugs, but one of NY's first lotto winners had no choice but the annuity and easily squandered it as fast or faster than is rolled in. You can read about it here:http://weeklywire.com/ww/08-23-99/nash_cover.html

Powerball & Megamillions Growing
If it rolls one more time you probably will get to find out. If it was just a coincidence that the last big run went from 300 to exactly 365 then another roll would be unlikely to push it past 370 to 375. Since that's not what happened, similar sales would add enough cash to bump the annuity jackpot by about $105 million, and it would roll to 405 if it weren't for the cap. If it does roll one more time I expect it to reach 390, with 5 to 10 million for the bonus pool.

Largest Texas Lottery jackpot claimed by trust
A Nnui a WHAT!!! Why? Nothing that looks like it is going to spell annuity would cross my mind with a jackpot, trust or no trust; lottery pool or no lottery pool If he/she dies, what will the pool do with his share if he/she does not have a living relative to leave it to?

UK Lottery operator plans $500 million global lottery game
---- The exchange rates have always made such a lottery almost impossible since even spending the equivalent of a dollar for a lottery ticket in some countries could cut deep into the average family budget. ----
Valid point, however, a global lottery will most likely be a collection of 1st world countries with one or two developing countries on the fast track to first world status. Third world countries, poverty stricken countries, anti gambling countries, and countries with strong religiou

Hoosier Lottery
If the current cash value is 60%, then I think it's a result of higher than normal ticket sales.
The actual cash value is always directly related to ticket sales, because a percentage of sales goes to each prize level. The relative values of the cash in the prize pool and the annuity value is determined by the interest that is expected to be earned with the cash. Varying tickets sales has nothing to do with it.
has anyone considered that the reason why there isn't a roll over after the

Raffle rules applied to a jackpot game
It sounds to me like you're now describing a game that works differently than the one in your first post. When somebody buys a raffle they get the next available number because the game is designed to be sold sequentially. They don't get to choose the number, it isn't random, and I doubt that most people see the ticket number as a combination. FWIW, while they aren't promoted as such, scratchers work the same way, except that the tickets arent sold sequentially and if all of the tickets don't
