Pick and Choose Player
I am a sporadic player, never missing a large jackpot, though. When the jackpots reach $000,000,000.00, count me in!

Super Hot Lotto 2010
It's O.K., but it kind of defeats the purpose of Hot Lotto, which is to provide moderately high jackpots for realistic odds of winning. What they should do is make it a pick-6, or at least a 4+1.

Could Criss Angel win Powerball??
I have seen this magician before and he does do crazy things like other magicians such as David Blaine. But I think if he wanted to win the powerball he should go and get a QP and wait for his numbers to show up. Besides I am sure he is of legal age to play lottery and he has been a magician for awhile. Their have been plenty of jackpots he could of tried to win.-weshar75

84 Year Old Wins $40M FL Lottery
Yes, but that was my question, csenior. Shouldn't that be handled before collecting the money? The lottery just announced she chose the cash and is taking the $21M lump sum payment. In fact, I rarely see a press release on the FL web site that mentions a Trust or LLC and many older people win the large jackpots. I realize she can give away more up to $1 million in her lifetime without paying a gift tax, but that's only one year's interest.

How much have you donated to charity?
Many people who win jackpots, or substantial prize money, donate a percentage to a charity. Were you lucky enough to win a tidy sum? Did you make a donation to charity?

Probability of a MegaMillions rollover.
Actually, the run is five consecutive jackpot winners under $50 million and seven jackpot winners under $100 million this year. Nine is the total number of MM jackpots awarded (and jackpot winners, since they were all won by one ticket each time) this year.

Changes in Mega Millions
The megaplier might not be a bad idea. I remember when Powerball was on its sting of low jackpots in winter 2005, most Powerball ads heavily emphasized the PowerPlay. Mega Millions would be able to do the same if it had the "megaplier" for all states (although California should not be forced to have it due to its pari-mutuel prize payouts, as it would be real messy there).

Mega Millions lottery jackpot won ... again
NY Lotto is seeing its lowest sales figures in maybe 25 years. Whether or not the low MM jackpots have anything to do with it, I say it's because of the terrible payout % in NY Lotto.
