Higher odds do not guarantee the jackpot will roll 12+ times each run. If someone is meant to win the jackpot, it will happen regardless of odds. After all, do you play to win, or to raise the jackpot? Of course, you don't play until the jackpot hits $250 million, but if everyone were like you there would never be a $250 million jackpot, and players would not play for jackpots under $50 million if it were not possible to win them.

You can figure since only 50% of lottery ticket sales are used to pay the winners, for every dollars somebody wins somebody else lose two dollars. It takes a lot of losers to support those million dollars jackpots.

It depends. Lots of people have won the lottery here. Pick 3, Pick 4, Pick 5, Jackpots. If you do a search you may find a few of the ones who have won small jackpot wins.

Ok I see. Strange. I wonder why they don't just let it roll. Are they afraid of the jackpot getting to big. I would think bigger jackpots would mean more people would play.

Well, since the jackpots have been hit and back down, I have not been to the site. It was good, but they are up to their stupid stuff with showing 3 weeks of the johnny cakes episodes before the finale. I still predict Christopher and A.J. getting whacked.

Either this is due to vendors like PTS or scratch/small games. Their jackpots for lotto have only hit 14-15M a few times. Also the record Euromillions pot has a lot to due with it.

Shay, we did have a couple of decent Jackpots here in GA over the last couple of years.... One in Washington, Ga I recall for >$100 Mil and one in Fitzgerald for over $300 Mil when the MM was known as the Big Game. But I agree, we need to have us some more winners !!! Go buy your tickets at that lucky store in Americus-- Wayne's World, I believe it is... They have sold 2 or 3 Jackpots.... DD
