I don't know if NC has every gone this long without a double.
You are 100% correct! We have seen 14 consecutive drawings w/o a double. 13 was the previous record. We're definitely overdue!

Getting new balls
I seen one post somewhere here that was interesting. And it was about how it was possible that a lottery machine and balls are replaced with new ones every once in a while to throw off any smart number pickers. Is this possible? and is it regularly done? And would it make a difference? If new balls are put into the machine or a new machine (or) a new person operator...would it have an effect on past drawings? Would it cause all to (go from square 1) and you can throw out all hot/cold and due num

'Infrequent buyer' claims $34M Powerball lottery jackpot
what if someone wins and they owe money or child support?
You know that the state knows who the anonymous winner is, right? If they have a debt that's part of the public record (which means past-due child support and any debt for which a judgement has been filed) the state will know.

When will mega hit this time?
Just two more rolls to over $200 million, four more to over $300 million, and (probably) six more to a record!!
On a side note, amazingly, there were 25 match 5+0 winners in last night's (12/14) draw, meaning we were lucky there was a rollover!!

convicted felons and jackpot winnings
An offender has paid their price to society for the crime; however heinous, in prison. A person who is on probation is only returning to a normal free life style an is expected to conform to the demands of society's rules, hence the various stipulations. I think once the offender has done the time for the crime it is a mute point, they are now another (hopefully) productive member of society. A lotto win would, IMO, make the offender at a better odds of not returning to a life of crime. A job

TN Pairs Week of Dec 01, 2007
That 8 has been out for 13 draws and the 4-5 vtrac pair (34,84,39,89 pairs) have been out for 28 draws. Some kind of record here. The late numbers are 8,3,4,6,7. the due vtrac pair is 4-8 (out 65). the due doubles are 99,44,49. The due roots are 8,9,1,4.
The due vtrac roots are 6 (probably vtrac 123) and 3(vtracs 345 or 255).

NC Lottery question
They say they consider your name, address, county, etc to be public record unless the winner produces a valid protective order or Address Confidentiality Program authorization card.
As usual the rules give just enough information to suggest you seek the advice of a professional before claiming a large prize.

When I checked my stats to see where I went astray, I noted that I was a sloppy record keeper. Otherwise, I chose the wrong Alpha settings.
