I agree, bought tickets twice and as usual there was not even one correct number. I will never buy Mega again. The price is ridiculous for the odds or any lottery for that matter. I feel that they will fail with this approach and hope they do!

Only reason I'm buying is because I've been playing the same number for about 20 years. If I just bought random tickets. I would be done with mega millions. And I'm only gonna buy my 1 number per draw. I'm not buying any extra regardless of how high the jackpot is. 5 bucks a line for 290 million in odds is crazy!

Your 100% correct. I'm sure they don't want anyone hitting period. But that brings up another question. Has anyone ever hit a starting jackpot? I know the odds are astromical. But I don't think I have ever heard of anyone hitting a starting jackpot. I could be wrong though.

Also, make sure you recognize that mega millions didn't even up the prize for 4 out 5 white balls + mega ball. They have a $10k prize (and multiplier, at most you'll get 100k) while Powerball has a 50k prize (or as much as 500k with power play)! So for a $2 ticket you have better odds and a cheaper cost for that than this $5 ticket.
