Multiples of the same number
Does anyone here buy multiples of the same number hoping for a bigger payout?
Here is what I do: I have 3 sets of numbers I play on a regular basis and I put them all on the same ticket. I then run that ticket through the vending machine 10 times. If my any of my numbers hit, I will win $2500 if it is a straight and and $400 if is is boxed. When I do it the straight, it will be a huge win without having to claim the winnings on my taxes.
Now I just need my numbers to hit.

Yeah that 2 and 20 are definitely longshots. But right now, neither of them has passed their all-time high skip which is 51 draws for each of them.
A Wawa , Minkster, is a convenience store. You've never been in one, but oh yes you have. First time I ever saw one was last month while I was on vaca in NJ. They aint around here. I left the one I went into completely unimpressed. That's the joint I went in to cash a two dollar Jersey Cash5 winner and the first clerk I spoke to didn't know how to

Curious about Quick Picks
SkyLine69, when people tell you to eliminate a quick pick number, is because you all ready have that, if it one of your picks to play for that day, then you invest a little more on that quick pick number. Other wise move on to the other numbers you like for that day. Now, as far as pick a scratch offs by zip code. You're about to really tick- off some Retailer, big time! Think about it. The average store has about 50 or more scratch off ticket usually in a case on the counter, about 20 others be

Congrats on your hit! Sometimes QPs are the way to go. I wouldn't quite give up on number crunching/analysis, when i was crunching for the pick 3 I too was wondering how all that effort and time put in yielded very little or not as much as expected. I realized that data analysis is just part of the game and sometimes no lots of times gut instinct could be thrown in as well. Im more of a 30 day pattern/trend guy which cuts down analysis time by a lot. Sometimes there will be that key info (like y

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
This mornings purchases:
4 x $25 Florida Cash Each from a different roll (2 from the counter, 2 from the vending machine). Won $25, $50, $40 and $25
4 x $20 Gold Rush. Won $40, $30, then 2 losers.
No big wins, but no big losses either.

They got these gas stations in the south called Sheetz .
Tonite, I had to gas up, so I pulled into a Sheetz. I got my gas and figured I go inside and see if they sold lottery tickets. They do, but in a vending machine and some guy was using it. He was takin' his sweet time so I kinda figured I get some other stuff and go back to the car. So I got my stuff and headed over to the cashier to pay for it. Turns out I was down to a fifty dollar bill... the last bill I had on me. The guy asked me if

Kind of weird, lottery machine
I used to not like those machines, either, but I've found several gas stations in my area have their lottery machines out of view when you're in line. (They have to step over to the side where you can't see them because they're behind merchandise, etc.) On two separate occasions, I have had clerks give me mistakes (that were printed hours earlier). Once, I even had a clerk cash an instant winner before I even saw the ticket. (I was doing a Fantasy 5 with the Easy Match; you pay an extra dollar f

Kind of weird, lottery machine
I've tried the lottery ticket vending machines a few times, but for whatever reason, I don't care to use them. (But then, I'm a guy that wont deposit cash or a check in my own bank's ATM.) I guess the deterrent that keeps me from using the vending machines is the amount of cash I'm risking by the machine possibly screwing up.
As for clerks and my lottery tickets, I don't trust them either, but that's born more out of the fact that I think they could make an honest mistake than it is them try

Supermarket chain accused of allowing lottery sales to minors
There is a huge difference between selling any taboo item to a minor and finding out minors purchased those items from a vending machine. And what makes this story even more silly is most vending machines give credits for the value of winning tickets. Minors still must hand their winning tickets to clerks if they want cash making how they bought their tickets irrelevant.

Purchasing a ticket
Problem with that is you have to carry the dang slip with you. I never have a pocket or whatever big enough to carry it.
But I have the same problem as the OP. Just recently I asked for 5 Powerballs, no multiplier. The guy handed me a ticket with one line, good for the next 5 draws! WTH! I refused it and he got me the right ticket. So then I had to pay attention to the next 5 draws to see if any tickets sold here won big. LOL Luckily the biggest one sold was just a 4 + 0, so if that ticket di
