Tennessee Lottery computerized drawings under suspicion again
Touche.
I was replying directly to CARBOB's comment about how he prefers ball drawings but thinks pre-tests throw off the stats.
You can't have it both ways. If you think ball drawings represent random, then you can't complain that there are patterns that testing prevents from happening.
Granted, it is possible that there could be corruption in any aspect of any business. That's what pre-tests are designed to thwart. However, using statistically insignifcant occurences as evidence th

When people find a silver colored 1943 penny, they are often surprised, thinking they have found a great rarity, since all U.S. pennies are copper. Aren't they?
A. The 1943 silver colored penny is a wartime issue made of steel, and coated with zinc. During World War II, copper was so badly needed for the war effort (to make shell casings) that t

N.C. Lottery conducts first Pick 3 Midday drawing
The North Carolina Education Lottery on Monday launched its second daily Carolina Pick 3 game.
Drawings are now held at 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday, in addition to the existing 11:22 p.m. drawing, held every day including Sundays.
The first winning number for the afternoon ( midday ) drawing was 672.
Players have been asking us to add another drawing, so we expect it to be good for sales, lottery director Tom Shaheen said in a statement. Increased sales should mean more money fo

Tenn. lawmakers want to force lottery to drop computer draws
This article is a little scary. It makes me feel bad that the elected officials cant work together to solve this matter. Jason Mumpower is on the right tract. Gov. Phil Bredesen should realize it's the people who play the lottery and they should have had a say so in the mater. The lawmakers agreed to a lottery and now he doesn't want them to be a part of reorganizing the lottery drawings. The people depend on the lawmakers to make decisions for them when they do not have a direct say so in the m

Question about editing
Todd, thank you. Helpful information. I think I will use your last advice on continuing using Foxfire. I think it's almost tweaked for what works for me on this site's editor. Even though I do have IE7. I'm running the lastest versions of both.
I just like Firefox because it is webmaster friendly. I am such an ignorant, inexperience webmaster that when I ran up on Firefox - I throw stones at IE7. I'm like why doesn't Microsoft do that for us since most people use their browsers Go figur

vtracs for PB numbers
OK.. WHEELING... unable to use Todd's wheel with is method..
Why? Because if you are looking for 5 different vtrac numbers for white balls, you wouldn't/couldn't enter them all in the wheeling because it would double a vtrac on you..
It would take too long to individually set up different wheels leaving room for error.
If the new program could be program to grab one from the vtrac string to the draw ...etc.
hope that makes sense..
Ex..
If looking for vtracs 11,

vtracs for PB numbers
it says error
I have come up with a vtrac chart which would be great to make into a program.
each number in the white balls... 01-55 are assigned under the vtrac number for that number...
example..
for the number 45.. white ball
you would write it under the 15 vtrac...
Then you list all of them in a chart form.
I have taken another chart and list the vtracs that appeared... and then out beside it I listed the vtrac root.
A program that could handle this wou

Fair warning: site update coming soon
I am doing final testing on a big site update that focuses mainly on performance improvements and fixes. The reason for the warning is just to let you know it's coming, so if the site starts acting funny on your computer, there is a good chance that you'll need to clear your browser cache in order to download the latest code.
Also, because the site will be upgraded to Microsoft's latest .NET library version, there is a chance that the site will need to go offline for a few minutes, depending
