Tennessee Lottery Sales Exceed $2 Billion
Not all church members are against gambling. Maybe the percentage in Alabama is higher though that are against it. My mother (rip) was highly religous and regularly played the lottery. She also went to casinos with several couples from the church. Mom mostly played scratchoffs but when the jackpots got high enough in the state and multistate games she played those also.

Hello
Welcome to LP. I usually play alone, as I do not wish to split a smaller jackpot. A huge one however is a different story. I pool up with no more than 2 people max, and only during high jackpots.

thanks todd for this great site!
Actually last I heard about 85% overall won jackpots via QP's. But I was speaking of LP members in general, whether they hit using their own numbers, or QP's.

Why no Canadian games online?
Just wondering why the online ticket brokers are ignoring the Canadian games. Sure the jackpots aren't like Megamillions or Euromillions but they are all tax-free cash and the odds are better. I'm just looking at the more dependable brokers.

still playing since the matrix change?
For me it's always been a certain jackpot level. I don't bother with Powerball unless it hits the cap due to their terrible annuity. Megamillions just doesn't seem to have what it takes to crack 300 again. Looks like just another year of disapointment for megamillions jackpots. Euromillions is now my favorite game. I just wait for it to get at the 85 million pound level or higher.

Probability of a Rollover in Powerball.
Higher interest rates and sales bigger than expected is causing the jackpots to reach new records. I hope it continues to roll. Lower interest rates and more jackpot winners will decrease the PB jackpot and won't set records.

one huge nationwide jackpot game
Well it would also be nice to combine MM, PB, Euromillions and if possible China lottery too... Then we could expect multibillion jackpots. I wonder what would the odds be like.

Mega Millions Sets A New Record
Oh I see now. Interest rate hikes made it possible. So basically lower interest rates mean lower jackpots? I hope MM keep this up by rolling until it passes Euro Millions in Cash Value and PB in annunity record.

Powerball Sets A New Record
PB likes to have guaranteed annunity jackpots just like CA SLP. Therefore, the cash value is less than expected. People taking annual payments will get lots of money from a backload.

Probability of a Rollover in Powerball.
I am aware of that, but I don't calculate my probabilities from lottery projections or sales calculated jackpots anymore. Instead I rely on sales averages for drawings. My approach has limitations of course, but the intent is to give a qualitative sense of what to expect.
