Jackpot code on scratch tickets
NEVER play any of the 4 versions of Lose for Life. And avoid NY's million-dollar scratches, because _all_ of them are annuity-only.

Ca$hola- Will It Last
I could see a progressive video jackpot throughout NY because of its population. But given the NY Lottery, it probably would be annuity-only.

Ohio looking to replace Lot O' Play
That is until interest rates go up to a point where a floating percentage would mean a cash option that's less than half the annuity value. Then Ohio would be offering a good deal. And as interest rates continue to rise across the board, that might happen soon.

Ohio looking to replace Lot O' Play
I have a feeling Ohio will try the $2 game (6/47) because IMO they want higher jackpot potential. Either game probably would work, but, again, Ohio needs to make the cash value a floating percentage of the annuity (like MM) rather than fix it at 50%.

I chose Cash option - FL has a 20 year annuity game (MegaMoney) with a cash option that pays around 65%, sometimes more since it's pari-mutuel. The starting jackpot is $500,000. There should always be a cash option for players.

Ca$hola- Will It Last
There is a cash option (the annuity is 20 equal payments.) This game has a very good chance. Hopefully other MUSL members with video lottery (eg South Dakota) with join.

Arizona Lottery winner shows what not to do with $6.7M
There was no cash/annuity choice for The Pick when he won. Just like there is no cash option for GA winners in Lose for Life.

Retired waitress wins millions in lottery
Will she be the last LOP jackpot winner? The cash option is exactly half of the annuity, instead of a floating percentage, so she was stiffed, which probably wasn't the first time since she was a waitress.

MM's low sales
If the authorities did decide to change the game doubling the price of a ticket is probably a worse choice than changing the odds. The odds are already high enough that very few people take them seriously. Either you play or you don't. I don't expect many people would stop playing or even change their buying pattern much if the odds increased by 10 or 20%. Doubling the cost of aticket, OTOH, will probably result in a significant reduction in tickets sales to the people who aren't regular play

I've been spending time lately in Orange County, NY, so I haven't seen this poll. MA is the most corrupt lottery state (NY is a close second). Where else is there a $200,000 annuity with no cash option?
