State due for PB win
You are all wrong because PA has had more winning Powerball jackpots in its history than OR probably double the winners. So we have to play catch up to PA.-weshar75

Powerball Sets A New Record
Jake649, in PB on roll #18 and #19, are those jackpots under the current matrix? If so, then that's strange because we could set new records again.

a reason to be concerned...computer draws
I don't think either of the multi-state games will go to computerized drawings because some States may be willing to tell their own citizens that RNG BS but they aren't dumb enough to believe it themselves. Besides, how would anyone explain having drawings to give away $300M plus jackpots need to be computerized to save few dollars.

Is the Lottery (PB/MM) corrupt?
If the draws is at 8:00 p.m. then the terminal will be shutdown for powerball sales at least one hour before the draw in each powerball jurisdiction. Some like the state of Oregon has a two hour shut off time between the sale of the last ticket and the drawing itself. I do not believe that Powerball is corrupt the game is designed to produce big jackpots and thus has long odds so people do not win all the time.

blind trust
When Ohio SLP was the main state game, lots of its jackpots were paid to a trust of some type, but MegaMillions being a multi-state game may have different rules. You may be able to find out by reading the Ohio's rules for its lottery games.

At what point (matrix) would you not play
If the odds of winning the PowerBall or MegaMillions jackpots ever become too large to attract the average lottery players, the people running these games will know by the reduced sales and they will adjust or go out of business. If that happens another game will replace them.

the future of mega millions and powerball
if the jackpots start getting won on almost every drawing they usually start taking measures for another matrix change.i personally don't think they should change it every time it starts getting hit a lot.
