Is the Lottery (PB/MM) corrupt?Reply
I think PB and MM aren't corrupt. It's just that it's harder to win jackpot. CA SLP isn't corrupt, but they do it in graduated annual payments like PB. If CA has to give up MM, jackpots will fall and get rigged.

Good luck. I'm surprised they sent tickets out of the country. What form of payment do they take? I don't need to spend any more money right now but it would be nice if they'd mail Mega Millions tickets. Did you get any update on that? I'm quite sure that game is the one exception. Florida has season tickets for 104 draws as well and usually larger jackpots but I don't think they mail tickets yet.

Louisiana Lottery - Revamped website
Just thought I'd drop this in.The Louisiana Lottery has introduced a completely revamped website which I think is pretty good. It gives all the winning numbers and jackpots on the front page, which is easier than having to dig around for them.They've also introduced a new player's club. Not sure what sort of benefits it's going to have, but they do now offer daily Emails of all winning numbers and a quarterly Email newsletter.Just thought I'd pass this along.Check it out at http://www.lalottery.

So far, I'm losing more money in buying lotto tickets than winning. My net loss is about $400 so far. Since jackpots are too low, I rather cut my losses. The most I ever won is $23 for CA SLP in 2001.

What's amusing to me is the reaction of the people I've been talking to today. Everybody I've spoken to is p*ssed off about this! Every one I've talked to today is saying stuff like:Yeah right! It rolls over for 5 months before some one wins it then it gets hit twice in a row.or:Finally some one from around here hits the damn thing and it's a minimum jackpot.And a few people have commented on the $400,000 cash prize. Everyone is outraged. Under the old rules it was guranteed to be a minimum

I voted yes, because my dream plan is to hit the Jersey Cash 5 first and take in anywhere between $200-600K. I would then use that money to start playing the big jackpots. If I ever won a big one(millions), I would still play because I love the thrill of it. Perhaps not as often though.

Must mean that the other jackpots are really low if Washington made it in the top ten. I won't bother getting tickets since they switched to computer drawings. The Seahawks making it to the superbowl seems as likely an event as winning it though.

Worry about falling down and breaking your neck before you get a chance to pay the taxes, not the taxes! Worry about waking up from a night of drinking and the woman next to you tells you her name is Lorna Bobbett. If you win one of the multi-million jackpots, taxes should be at the bottom of your list of complaints.

How quickly do you check your tickets?Reply
Sometimes, I don't buy CA SLP and MM tickets especially when their jackpots aren't in my range system. However, I do check the lottery results the next day and write down the winning numbers on the draw.
