Senior Citizen Exercise
I know this isn't lottery related, but this is for the Senior Citizens on the forum.Remember, a sound body makes a sound mind, and we all need that to pick winners.
I came across this exercise suggested for seniors, to build muscle strength
in the arms and shoulders. It seems so easy, so I thought I'd pass
it on.
The article suggested doing it three days a week.Begin by standing on a comfortable surface, where you have plenty of room
at each side. With a 5-lb. potato sack in each h

Make your own luck with Lotto
As Australia suffers through a post-Christmas financial hangover, Lotto services have pooled their money to create the biggest draw in Australia`s history $33 million.
Saturday Gold Lotto`s $33 million Mega Draw on December 30 has drawn hordes of would-be millionaires to newsagents across the country.
The employees at Peter Kennedy`s two newsagencies, which have sold eight first-division prizes between them, say they have been run off their feet in preparation for the draw.

N.C. Lottery conviction sends message about disclosure
From the article:
Lawmakers, government watchdogs and federal prosecutors say it's important that the public has trust in government.
We view these as crimes against democracy, said Bob Hall, executive director of Democracy North Carolina, a private organization that monitors ethics in government. If people become convinced that government is rigged, then the whole thing will fall apart.

a poll about annuities and lump sum
Floridian, you took the age comment completely wrong! An annuity is often a good way to protect yourself from losing everything should you become ill. However, if someone continues to receive payments as income from a lottery, I don't think that money is protected because it is income. You are actually receiving the interest only on an investment. Someone over 70 might want to contact an attorney to make sure Long Term Care and other important issues are addressed. Also, when you die if yo

location, location, location?
Hi, I didn't want to go through the news section and make a list. However, it's funny that today I got up and checked the FL site to see where last night's winning tickets were bought. I knew 2 people won, but the locations are announced the next day. Here's this morning's article:
TALLAHASSEE-- The Florida Lottery announced today that two players matched all five winning numbers in the Thursday, Sept. 14, FANTASY 5 drawing and will share a $230,350.76 top prize.
