Ok, how about this. For Pick-5 or Pick-6 mark two numbers on the play slip and check the Quick Pick box. In Florida the terminal will quick pick the remaining numbers. Purchase one ticket. Mark the terminal's picks in enough play panels that you can enter all the remaining numbers. For a 6/54 game, the terminal will already have four and your first two, that leaves 48 number or 24 play panels to add two numbers to until they are all used up. Maddog if you notice all the 5+0 winners in them states all got them from quick pick in there state the odds of winning and picking your own number is tremendous. At least that is from my perspective in missouri. trying winning any game in missouri is hard since they ignore the little towns and pick winners in the major cities. scratchers, pick3, pick4, lotto, show me cash are rigged and changed at the whim of the lottery offices.

Although, I don't play Pick 5 at the moment, that is how I am with the other games I play. I do a combination of all the above. I do try to pick my own numbers more then quick picks, but it all depends on the previous draw if I decided to stick with the same number sets or change them.

For mega millions (the only game I play now other than pick 3), I like to pick my own bonus ball number for all 5 picks (35), but have the machine pick my other numbers on all drawings except one (my lucky numbers, which ironically was the result of a quick pick). While I have always had better luck with QPs, my biggest win (25 bucks on keno) was a result of picking my own numbers. I guess it depends on the mood I am in.

Imo, whether you wheel, use software, pick your own numbers or use quick picks it all comes down to luck. Maybe not so much with Pick 3 or Pick 4 games, but when dealing with games that have a 100,000 or more combinations, then I think luck is the big factor.

When it's your time it's your time. That's the way I feel about playing the lottery. I believe inside that someday I'll win but I don't know if its this week, next month, or 5 years from now. When it's my time the numbers will fall for me whether I pick them or get some quick pick tickets. Positive thinking is a powerful tool and if more people used it in our society we would all be more happy.
