Charlotte station only got a live feed from the WRAL studio where the drawings take place. The drawings are not pre-recorded, they are live. I attended one. The drawings are impressive to watch as they take great pains to make sure it is random. When a contract runs out with a news station, they are only allowed to show the winning numbers which will not be at 11:22. You can still watch the live drawing on wral at 11:22

If All 80,000 Members of LP Dedicated to Systems for PB and Pick6 We will Win it Everyday
I apologize in advance, what I'm about to say may offend many people:
This thread saddens me. Playing the lottery should be for entertainment purposes only, not a retirement program. To be perfectly honest and blunt, the only people I see 'breaking' a mega millions or powerball type lotto are those doing it with the help of something like IBM's Big Blue. It would take a group of people with a different purpose than 'I want to be rich', a very tight knit group with legitimate lawyers on stand

Store payout when a winning ticket is sold (in Tennessee)
It's not that they have a trouble finding stores to sell tickets, it's finding stores that will live up to their contract and payout prizes to $600. I've seen some Ma Pa stores that will sell a player $50 worth of tickets and if he wins $50 will tell him they don't carry enough money to cash a prize that size.

Lottery winner doesn't have to share
What I don't see mentioned here that I did see in other news, is that the sister that brought the lawsuit TORE the contract up after an earlier dispute and ceased playing with her sister. That makes it very clear to me that the winning sister didn't have to share her prize since this sister ended the agreement earlier and now is only suing since the other one won big.

Judge: Woman, 87, doesn't have to split windfall with sister
An elderly Connecticut woman does not have to share her half of a $500,000 lottery windfall with her sister who sued her over it, a judge ruled Wednesday.
Eighty-seven-year-old Rose Bakaysa and her 84-year-old sister, Theresa Sokaitis, have been fighting over the money in court since 2005. That was shortly after Bakaysa and their brother won the Powerball jackpot.
Sokaitis argued they had signed a notarized contract a decade e

Illinois Lottery may privatize lottery to solve budget woes
A private company now runs the parking meters in Chicago and it's been a headache for people who feed the meters. And my understanding is the contract is for the next 75 years.

Sisters' lottery jackpot trial begins today
Its interesting the threads to this post, from what I read here, a case can be made for you to hound me forever, even if you abandon the tenets of the contract. Get enough people to promise you a piece of the action, and, just sit back and wait on them to spend their money and hit!!. What a country!!

I will have to wait until the website updates as I can't watch the drawings live now. I am a Cablevision customer we have temporarily lost signal to all ABC channels due to the contract dispute.

Virginia Lottery drawings moving from TV to Internet
I was just discussing this article with my husband. He immediately said, Va lottery is going to save alot of money. I said I wish Maryland would do the same thing but I sure MDSL has signed a contract with WBAL for a number of years. What a rip off. WBAL doesn't air the numbers on Saturday mornings and Saturday nights the time of the airing is posted as 8:27pm or between 8:27-8:30. I watched for the drawing last night and it didn't air at all.
