$171 MILLION: Mega Millions lottery jackpot rolls
By Todd Northrop
As lottery fans have been discussing the revamped Powerball game, the United States's other huge multi-state game, Mega Millions, has been quietly and steadily increasing its jackpot.
Tuesday night we'll find out if the Mega Millions lottery game enters into the realm of $200+ million jackpots, or if an incredibly lucky ticket-holder wins a $171 million jackpot.
The lump-sum cash value stands at a staggering $124.7 million.

$310 MILLION: Powerball lottery jackpot in rare territory
Let us know when there's an option to play for a quarter. The other multi-state jackpot game costs $1 for each chance with odds that are virtually the same as PB. My chances of winning that game are twice as good for a $2 bet as my chances of winning PB. Sensible people balance risk and reward, and the cost of a chance is therisk. Comparing PB with MM, the PB odds *are* 1 in 350 million.
I'm pretty sure you prefer your players to be stupid instead of well informed.

A New Year...A New You?
I am playing less and saving the money for something. I do not know what just yet but it is not lottery tickets or casino play. I am playing megabucks because it is high right now but when it is won I will stop playing that game and wait for powerball and mega millions to climb. Since I have yet to win a jackpot in either multi-state game I will not be spending my money on every draw play in 2012. In the past I would have played every drawing but this year I'm trying something new and only playi

Wave pattern analysis and lottery draw histories
Mayem: If there's no similar pattern on ball machines you might be correct. If you are interested you might have a look at the multi-state jackpot games in the same way as this, or pick a ball game versus a RNG game of any state you care to. If the patterns persist but the sequence of dates changes you might be led to conclude it isn't a product of RNG programming.
Thanks for the reply.
