I stopped playing Powerball and Mega Millions a long time ago when I realized how low the payouts were compared to the odds for the lesser prizes. For numbers games, at least the payout is 50/50 in most states.

We DON'T want PB MM to merge, ever. If they do, the odds of winning the jackpot will be something like 500 million to 1, with a matrix 5/96 + 1/51.

i would like to say that the last two drawings contain a pattern play one number from the past 2 drawing it like to make a pattern this is the only pattern it makes it give u better odds if u play number from the last two drawings

Best play of all, I think, would be to forget about lottery. Open a tax-advantaged retirement account. When they ask what strategy you want, grab the slider and drag it all the way over to Aggressive Growth. Put your lottery money in there every week. Don't laugh. If you had done this in 2013 when I first joined this board, you would have a pretty decent supplementary retirement account now and you wouldn't even have needed to beat 30 million to one odds.

Agreed, no more mega millions for me. I hope we see the jackpot only increase +1 million after the first draw. I'll be playing Cash4Life on Tuesdays/Fridays. Odds for Cash4Life jackpot are over 13x better than MM, and the ticket is 60% cheaper! Good luck

I'll pass on the new Mega Millions at $5 a pop. I'll take the $4 a week I play on MM and buy more CA Superlotto instead. Much lower jackpots for sure, but way lower odds and still a few million bucks won is plenty for me. AND my losing tickets can be entered in the second chance drawing, which is something I have won once back in the old Big Spin days.

Consider the boxing matchb that TYson lost to9 Buster Doiyglas.............IIRC the odds on that were something like you hgad to lay $2200+ om Tyspm to win $100. Peopole who ber Tyson thought they had a lock, iu.e. a bet that can't lose. Tyson lost.

Every since the introduction of Fireball, NC Draw games have gone downhill. Scratch offs are a better odds, but lesser prizes. Countless repeats and scarce triples.
