Now if your going to retire An-fang, that's the way to do it. Thoughtful. insightful, and articulated with great skill and enthusiastic pronunciation. Thank you for sharing those nuggets of Japanese wisdom.

Honestly would you really care how much taxes you had to pay??
Wrong you are, Millions of us are ready to retire, no more income tax, no more medicare or SS coming out of our checks, they gonna run out of that welfare and free handout money. The freebies are running out, it's you who's going to bow down when you want your free food, Uncle Sam is going to tell you to ANTE UP BIACHE! hehehehehe

Record $587.5 million Powerball jackpot won by 2 tickets
I got my tic for 2 draws last Sunday, so I'm good to good Saturday. The best thing if someone (or me) wins (well, next best) is no one will care or even pay attention. All the attention will be on who one the big one. Flying under the radar, but still plenty for me to retire on.

You know, I am shooting for 5 and 0 with the powerplay, don't need half a billion, but a million would be nice, Just want to retire comfy. I will carefully pick the first five balls.

I'm a Powerball...
I support powerball and it has been 16 years of little return of only $100. But I am not bitter because I have dreams of winning that hopefully will happen one day. Just waiting to see if my numbers come up that is all and good luck to me tomorrow night. I would split the ticket with my mother so she can retire in style. I got plenty of years left to enjoy the winnings.-weshar75

How much money would you have to win to be able to quit your job and retire?
A million ain't what it used to be. I couldn't retire on that either. I'd need about 1.5 mil after taxes to be somewhat comfortable, so that's almost 3 million I'd have to win.

Do some number combinations have better odds?
This is a good start. Now if we can get five more volunteers to provide us with the white balls I can finally retire from gambling.

I bought my Powerball tickets in Iowa, why didn't I win?
Trouble is you can't retire and live the good life on $150. At least some people can't. I could probably do it on $500, if invested properly.

Ticket mistake...what would happen?
Wow, the clerk gave you a free ticket? unheard of. If the tix won, I personally would give the clerk enough to retire ( depending on jackpot amount). 75 mil after taxes, plenty enough to live on. I can spare $5 mil to give. good luck!
