Georgia Lottery Scratch Offs
Nice results there! In the few times I have played the Millionaire Jumbo Bucks, I haven't won . I won $30 on the old one, but I bought that thinking it was the newer one. FALSE ADVERTISING VENDING MACHINE! Now that I'm up BIG, I don't think I'll be playing $20 or $30 tickets often at all. While you could win big on those, they eat up your money very quickly. $10 or lower is where I'm staying for the most part and I'll probably buy only $20 maybe $30 at a time every few weeks or so. I'm

10 Stupid Things People Have Done After Winning The Jackpot
9. Putting the Ticket in the Trash Bin Joseph and Joanne Zagami, $1 million The Zagamis went out for groceries one summer day in Massachusetts and bought a lottery ticket from a vending machine. It only cost them $5 dollars and all they had to do was scratch off sections to see if they had the winning numbers. Instead, they placed the ticket in the bag, before Joanne inadvertently threw it into the trash bin after cleaning out her bag. It s a good thing that Joseph remembered th

Thieves stole California Lottery vending machine
This doesn't surprise me. Here in Louisiana, video poker was legalized back in the 1990s and many bars and restaurants installed poker machines. A new crime was breaking into these businesses after closing and taking the cash from the machines. Those machines often have a lot of money in them so it's very tempting. I don't know if anyone has ever actually stolen a poker machine, but many have been broken into around the state. Louisiana hasn't had lottery vending machines for all that long

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
Saw the new Scratchers vending machine at a grocery store. Sells draw games too but this one appeared to not be ready for that feature yet. Finally getting some upgrades from the decades old antiquated machines: Now if we can get some machines that cash/credit small wins, that would be even better.

Here's an idea, how about a Vending Machine Scratch Tournament
Hey, I was just there visiting. Just found the new vending machine better than what we have in NJ. Unlike NJ, you can scan your tickets for winners. The new machines have scanners on them and they can automatically take your winning tickets as credits and let you play more. This eliminates the hassle of cashing in your winners before going back to the machines to play more. I have been to the Port Authorithy terminal in the city where they have a bank of vending machines. That was more than a

Yeah, I pretty much always take my tickets to go. Helps shield you from (and not give any info to) win chasers and hawks. Very rarely, if I can find a empty store and vending machine to myself, I might do a limited win chasing. Also, taking them to go limits the tendency to overspend by chasing in store. I see some regular heavy players often scratching on the down low. An old guy I see at one store a lot always takes the tickets outside to scratch. And a lady at another store always takes th

Record Powerball jackpot won by 1 ticket
I know they were in the news last year, but I've never seen a self service lottery machine (I live in Florida) There are vending machines for scratch-off tickets in most Publix supermarkets in the state, but usually people are lined up at the customer service counter to buy tickets for online games like Powerball, Lotto, Fantasy5, etc. I was hoping the winning ticket was purchased from a small grocery store or other family owned business. Publix has an annual revenue of around $27 billion, bu
