QUICK PICK! 70% of all JACKPOT winners are won with the QUICK PICK option. Why argue with the odds?
POWERBALL goes to an all-time record of $365M on February 18, 2006!

Probability of a Rollover in Powerball.
The powerball jackpot has rolled. The cash value is now $75.5M; the annuity value is $156M. The previous cash value of the jackpot reached some 68.9M. Powerball is therefore expecting 21.9M in sales. This seems way too low, since the last jackpot sold 28.8M Extrapolating from the last large run which had 147M and 167M jackpots and using the sales figures for those drawings, I estimate that this drawing should produce about 30.2M in sales. If this is correct, the probabilities for vario

Lantern, For each their own when learning about pick three.. With me it was reading ... reading .. and like you mentioned above.. learning movements.. .. Last night, a lady , with a very good hit record, came in the store and was deciding what to play... I listened to her mumble as she thought.. Then it hit me.. (She as a total different method with her observation than I do..) She is a straight shooter and she does pull aparts of pairs and considers 3 brings on a 7 and vice versa... Makes

CA SLP roll challenge 1/18/06
Welcome to the CA SLP Challenge. CA SLP has hit a new record in terms of consecutive rolls with 19 of no CA SLP jackpot winner. However, PB now has the highest jackpot in the United States right now. The reason I put up my CA SLP challenge is because the jackpot is at least $48 million. Good luck to everyone who'll participate in my challenge before the draw. Lets see who predicts the best.Just6ntlc's CA SLP ChallengeJackpot is now: $ 77 Millionwb's: 5 [mininum] to 15 from 1-47mb's: 1 [mininum]

Cali. mid/eve double 7 out
weird?? the double 7's are the most due in california midday and evening. 7's have been out 128 draws on day and 137 draws on nights. a double hasn't shown up at all in the last 17 night draws. they might not be the next double, but i'd say the 7's hit evening 1st. i think we have a new record for the longest double out. the 6's haven't shown up in 405 draws in Ontario. 1 poster backtracked and found they hit 12 times in 2004. man, i'm glad i didn't chase those..lol.

What Type of Lottery Personality are You?
I think this is a great topic. My only problem is I can't vote because I fit into a few of the catagories.I have a lottery budget but I don't stick to it. When I loose (which is more often than I care to admit) I have a plan. When I win (which hasn't happened yet) it remains to see if I stick to that plan.I used to record my wins and losses but I got too depressed looking at the figures. My biggest failure is that I stick to playing jackpot games with long odds and very little regular return. It

If u live in CA, play SLP and feel . . .
TigerAngel, the good news is that CA SLP set a new roll record of 18 consecutive draws without a CA SLP jackpot winner. The bad news is that Powerball has the largest jackpot right now in United States at 76 million while CA SLP is currently at 71 million for 1/14. The previous numbers in CA SLP for 1/11 were 6, 24, 25, 36, 43, and MEGA of 17. If the MEGA Number was 6 in the last CA SLP draw, I would have been happy that all 27 numbers were the winning numbers of both the White Ball and MEGA Num

Probability of a Rollover in Powerball.
The powerball jackpot has rolled. The cash value is now $37.8M; the annuity value is $76M. It is reasonable to assume that the lottery will have $17.0M in sales, near the figure for the last lottery run at this level. If the lottery sells this amount of tickets on this drawing, the probability for various numbers of winners is as follows:089.02%110.36%20.60%30.02% This run is close enough in sales to the last run to make a qualative estimate of the long term probability of nearly matcing the

Another MM Winner @$15m
Yeap, I agree with RJOh, winning $250,000 may not be the grandest jackpot, especially if we are talking about some players who ONLY play when the POWERBALL or the MEGA MILLIONS is $100 million or more. Nevertheless, I, too, would be thankful for $250,000 -- and with powerplay (any number from 2-5 can be drawn) -- that's an extra bonus!I've noticed that people who generally win smaller lottery amounts (the lower millions) compared to the (higher millions), receive less media attention -- and tha
