Anybody find out the Powerball changes?
All extra money should go back to the jackpot pool. This $25million increase cap is bs. Oh, and for those who care.. the exact odds are 1:120,526,770.And increasing the annuity to 30 years is bs too. Long live Cash Only! This is even more reason NOT to choose annuity and to take the cash and run.

Has anyone tried a Lottery Pool?
There are some lottery club/pool sites listed on Lotto-logix. Maybe you can get a copy of the rules and agreement for your club. The hardest thing is keeping it together after a couple weeks of not winning. Good luck.

7 out of 9 states have $175,000 winners
Mega Millions really shared the wealth this drawing. Pretty rare to have such an even split of $175,000 winners, especially given the variations in player pool sizes among the nine states.-Todd

BIGGAME MAGAMILLIONS HISTORY,DATA AND PICKS
Glad I could help. As I pointed out in my earlier post, by defining parameters that hopefully include the winning combinations I will pick my numbers from a smaller pool of combinations thus bettering my odds of picking a winner. RJOh

Mega Millions Lottery Pool
If you're playing once a month, you have 7 or 8 chances to try some simulations see what happens. With $200 dollars and odds of 1:43 of getting a winning ticket, the least you should expect is (5x$3) $15 of winnings. Simulate 200 random numbers, 200 numbers that don't match 3 among them or a wheel of 200 numbers during the weeks you aren't playing and pick the system that did the best. If you are manageing a pool, some of your members might have some ideas too.RJOh

Gee how much are you betting? I started a 20 member pool and we play once per month for $200.00 I wheel 20 numbers but don't have a good wheel. We won $12.00 bucks our first try. Hopefully this month we can do better. If you have any pointers you would like to pass along please do. Thanks.

JACKPOT!!!!!
Regarding rule 4. I spoke to IRS today and they said I didnt need a FEIN. They said to file a Form 5754 and W-2G for a lottery pool. You can visit their website at www.IRS.GOV - I checked this out because I am preparing to hit the BIG GAME MEGAMILLON JACKPOT shortly. Ha Ha.
