Which is your school of thought?
Well at least someone has their head on straight. Trying to make more out of buying a lotto ticket than the simple act of asking for a quick pick is fruitless. On the other hand, if you enjoy entertaining yourself trying to pick some winning numbers- enjoy.

Sign the petition - eliminate computerized drawings!
I think MathWizard is referring to the computer RNG Texas uses to generate quick picks. The RNG is not a good one. In fact, I believe many players have opted to pick their own ratherthan rely on a computer that isn't very random. Some players have reported getting the same combination twice on one ticket.Back when Texas had a pick 6 game, some jackpot winners had to share because the RNG gave samecombinations to two or more players. An aside, I believe this guy recently appeared before the Texas L

Some thoughts about filters.
Since we are told that one lottery number or ball does not have anything at all to do with another one, not from the same drawing and not from any other drawing either, because the lottery drawings and the numbers are random and so that there is no relation between anything lottery. That then might mean that any predition method system or technique would either have to be based on random statistical laws or on imaginary make believe or non-sense methods. That should leave you pretty much free to u

Has anyone here won with a system?
There is no good system for Mega Millions or Powerball. Just buy and quick pick and pray is probably the best bet. Pick 3 is an entirely different situation. You can often double your money on Pick 3 on a consistent basis. That is about as good as things get. Anyone who offers you a sure fire MM or Powerball system is just trying to get your money.Orangeman

110 $100,00 WINNERS !!??
It makes me wonder if the quick pick isn't so random after all. Could it be programmed to pick certain numbers more frequently, thereby leaving more numbers unplayed to increase the chances of a jackpot rolling over? Their little scheme didn't work this time. They need to have computer experts take a look at their random number generator.

110 people match 5 white powerball #'s
I hope we find out if the bulk of these were self-pick or computer quick pick. The answer to that question will open the door to many other questions.
