$15.2 Million Powerball Prize
The record $15.2 million Lotto Powerball jackpot prize won on Saturday night has been claimed today by an Auckland person, New Zealand Lotteries Commission (NZ Lotteries) Chief Executive Trevor Hall announced today. I came home and checked Teletext and saw that there was a single winner, and thought that s a lot of money for one winning ticket . I hoped the ticket was owned by a number of people, the winner said today. I then went to bed oblivious to my windfall. I slept well and in the mornin

Sun - Moon Excel Chart
Hi Dave:I've been fooling around with your chart for pick 6 draws.... preliminary results suggest there's a moon phase correlation between the high numbers and the related number combinations for each draw and the moon phase of the same combinations in past draws. It's cumbersome to figure, so haven't back tested it, but at least for the MM draw last night there was enough to justify back testing it. Which I probably won't do, but will rather just follow it along draw to draw to test it withou

Texas Lottery critic applies for Director position
Todd I agree with you that it would be interesting - I suppose watching a train wreck could be called interesting too. :) I'm cannot claim to be a neutral arbiter here - I've worked with these folks and oh by the way (for Orangeman) I know and admit they have real problems with their lotto games. I simply disagree that going back to 6/49 will make everything all yippy skippy. Overall sales have been growing smartly and I htink they have a right to be proud of their record overall. In my exp

next mm hit
With the odds as they are now we have a chance to get more $200 m jackpots. I like when they get high just because of all the attention that is paid to them. I mean look at what happened when Jack Whitiker (sp) won that jackpot. He was on every morning show and everything. And when they get high a lot of people start winning the 2nd and 3rd tier prizes which aren't to shabby now. Let's look forward to a record run.FYI: Even though California joined NY still has the highest sales.Brad

Reason for NM Lottery Authority secrecy
I think there have been times where a lottery winner has claimed the prize money without a ticket. It had been lost.If a person knew they had won and lost the ticket they would notify the lottery that they had purchased the ticket giving the location purchased and the time purchased and other info if possible. They could also have purchased the ticket with other lines of play on it. The purchaser could give the lottery the other lines of play on the ticket with the exact combinations per line if

Out of tickets?
Sure has happens all the time see there are some things that might be going on here. One thing is the place where you went to get the tickets has a contract with the lottery they have to pay for the books they bought and they have to pay in advance for the books they get. If the owners had to pay a big bill to somebody else then they might not have had the cash to buy more tickets. Rest assured if they want to continue selling tickets they will come up with the cash to get a new order. Two they m

Start all over again (MM)
You can see the difference between the old version and this version. I mean in my state of Michigan we used to always have $175,000 winners especially when the jackpot was this high. Now I don't think we have had any in the last 3 or 4 drawings. Also for last nights drawings all states sales totaled just short of $50,000,000. You think about it there was still over 120 million combinations left that could of made the jackpot roll. I think definately will we see a new record within the next y

$170M Mega Millions jackpot has Calif. Lottery officials scrambling
Chon Gutierrez, acting director of the California State Lottery, boldly predicted there would be days like this. But he had no idea that day would come this soon.Today, California's participation in the new Mega Millions multistate lottery game is expected to produce a $170 million jackpot, the second-largest lottery jackpot in state history. If no one wins in the 12-state drawing tonight, Tuesday's Mega Millions jackpot likely will top $200 million - exceeding the California record of $193 mill

170 million for Friday
Certainly this run has the potential to break 300, but after 200 (or even after 100), it seems that people who normally do not play will play at least a $1 just for the chance. But, maybe the long odds will help offset the increase in players so that the JP keeps rolling. I would like to see it break 300 and someone win a single JP (especially if that someone is me), but I do not know if I would want the publicity of breaking the record, especially since you cannot be in an anonymous trust in C

GA Combined is due for a sum 13-17 single
It's been ten (singles) skips without one. The old record for most skips without a single in the sum 13 to sum 17 range was nine. That stat is courtesy of my Versabet software tracking GA combined's last 766 singles, only.Here are all 47 of the sum 13-17 boxed singles for your consideration, courtesy of Todd's super-duper Deflate 3:049 058 059 067 068 069 078 079 089 139 148 149 157 158 159 167 168 169 178 179 238 239 247 248 249 256 257 258 259 267 268 269 278 346 347 348 349 356 357 358 359 3
