Canada couple loses out on $1.64M jackpot
Judge's ruling ends an Alberta couple's bid for a share of a 2007 Super 7 lottery jackpot Relying on their friends to ensure they were covered for a lottery pool has cost an Alberta, Canada, couple $1.64 million, a judge has ruled. In a written decision released Wednesday, Justice Suzanne Bensler said Michael and Catherine Clancy of Okotoks, Alta., weren't entitled to a percentage of a Nov. 23, 2007, $20 million jackpot. The plaintiffs' story is sad, Bensler said, in concluding the 21

Determinism vs Randomness and Chance
Eeryone, place your bets, Jimmy is about to explode with another set of statistics that will echo through LP land. I just hope that he includes the data for 2of3's, 3of3's and not just the 4of5's that has tipped his plate. Save yourself the time jimmy. Been there done that so before you waste your time which is exactly what you are doing, take a deep breath and remember the one word that I use so often ----- IF ------ . The idea here is to remove from the pool of selection. If one is

Predictions for LP for 2010 - NOT number predictions, things you see coming.
Coin Toss Although I think folks have been buying out-of-state lottery games via USA Mega, Betslips and similar internet sites, it probably isn't legal. I don't know one way or the other. I use to buy Poweball tickets via an on-line service. The tickets were bought legally and mailed to me. Since almost all states are now selling both games, I don't need to do that anymore. I can buy all I want right here in Texas. I probably couldn't legally buy games on-line in the New Yor

The Gluttonous Observation for Pick3: an Old Observation...
i thought about this like: 6 years ago and kept thinking about it afterwards but kept brushing off the idea because i was too lazy to do the calculations on a calculator, and i couldnt believe someone will think of this plus i was never interested in Pick3: I ve never played pick3... Is something SO simple...I call this people having bad habits i have bad that habits, 100% of the Global Population has bad habits...Is a little flaw in thinking on how we approached the game and it is: SO SIMPLE

Powerball multi-state lottery game to change rules
Changes to coincide with addition of Florida in January; Jackpots to start at $20 million Powerball, arguably the world's best known jackpot lottery game, will be making changes to the game with the addition of Florida in January. The multi-state game will add some white ball numbers and will remove some red ball numbers, to accomodate the increase in number of players once Florida joins the game. If the number matrix is not changed, the jackpot would be hit too often, and it would not re

Hello Jackpot Games players ...like your opinion
I think the way I am looking at strings ....at least for P3 may be different. For example... using the draws just up there to demo part of the idea. Notice just the first position each draw up until Wed 7/1/98 I would say there is an ongoing String right there .....just in first position each day. Look..... every single draw had a LOW digit in its last spot for 10 straight draws ..... before it finally Stopped ..and went high digit on the end..... Wednesday ... starting with 09 ...

Pairs for four digit games
This shouldn't be hard to do. You will need a drawing history. How many numbers are drawn from a pool of 80 for each drawing. 10 or 20? The next thing is to calculate what Pairs Hit and the current skip of all the 2 Pairs Keno Pairs from the last 165 drawings. New York draws 20 Numbers out of a Pool of 80. I have an Excel program that tracks the 2 Pairs The November 4 drawing the TOP 7 2 Pairs that were out the longest: 9,43 @ 187 SKIPS

You buy a 2line ticket to pool with 1 person but they don't pay the $1
Go back and read what you wrote the first time around. You asked us to play judge and told us what happened, so that's what I'm basing my opinion on. If there's a legal dispute the case will be judged on the facts as presented, and what you think won't matter. Think about any other contract you've agreed to, whether it's signing a lease, buying a car, or whatever. Do you think that either party can change the terms just because they thought the other party wouldn't enforce their rights under the

Lottery mega-jackpots generating less 'buzz'
Okay here I am: There is always a group of people who will buy lottery tickets. For instance, some people play the same four numbers day after day on the daily lottery. Others will play only Powerball and only when there is a large enough jackpot. If there are more large Powerball jackpots in a given year, then more people are likely to play the lottery than normally would, driving up sales. Every month I have a certain amount I spend on the Lottery. I run three lottery Pools
