Florida Pick 2 Could Be Rigged
Florida uses ball drawings, so the chances that it could be rigged are incredibly small you can witness the numbers being drawn. Plus the payouts on a Pick 2 game are the smallest of any lottery game drawn in Florida, so there would be much less incentive to rig a drawing.
Be thankful you play the lottery in a state with traditional ball drawings. Those who play in a state with computerized drawings always have to be wondering if everything is A-OK. Other guys like Eddie Tipton could be out t

Virginia woman wins Cash 5 lottery top prize 12 times for total of $1.2 million
I'm sure they'll investigate her. Tipton has helped the lottery become hyper vigilant when anyone wins a large amount.. Repeatedly.
Congrats, glad someone dispelled that birthdays or anniversary dates are rarely drawn.

The 5 lottery jackpots Tipton and his friends stole
Noisegates signature line seems befitting for this topic. Tipton thought the same way!
Actually this is great PR for states to say how they now invest more in security and authentication of draws...So they now will have to up the odds and cost to cover the upgraded systems. The customer pays for all this mind you...

Mastermind of lottery fraud will explain how he rigged jackpots
Wait, you mean Tommy Tipton only gets 75 days in jail (of which he will probably only serve a week), then gets to go home to Sugar Land, TX (a wealthy suburb of Houston) and continue being a judge with a large salary and massive pension?
Man, he really did win the lottery.

NJ Lottery adding Quick Draw game to its lineup
My understanding is that they no longer use the drawing system created by Tipton. I question why they continue to use computerized drawings at all at this point, but at least they did change the system. Hopefully players will keep pressure on MUSL to change all of its drawings back to real ball drawings.
(This is off-topic to the discussion about the new NJ Quick Draw game, but worthy to mention because of the computerized drawing angle.)

Best friend to testify against Tipton at July lottery rigging trial
By trying to prove Tipton rigged the games, they are proving their games can be rigged and are still cheating the few foolish people that continue to play.

California man claims $191M Mega Millions jackpot
You don't know what they know. The California Lottery hasn't issued a statement saying that Jack Freney is from California. He could have had an attorney, an LLC, and who knows what else to shield his actual address. Eddie Tipton was a lottery employee, of course he was going to be scrutinized harder. These two situations have nothing to do with one another.
Iowa and California are different states with different laws and lottery policies.
