Mega Millions goes on sale in South Dakota May 16
South Dakota Lottery officials are adding Mega Millions to the state's lineup of lotto games, beginning May 16. The first Mega Millions drawing in which South Dakota will participate is Tuesday, May 18. The South Dakota Lottery Commission in late March unanimously approved adding the game. Thursday, January 14, 2010 CLEVELAND The Ohio Lottery announced today that it will move forward with its plans to sell the multi-state jackpot game, Powerball. The Ohio Lottery will bring draft game rules for Powerball before Ohio Lottery commissioners on Monday, Jan. 25. If approved, the rules would receive a public hearing and go before the Joint Committee for Agency Rule Review (JCARR). The rule would become final this spring, permitting Ohio to sell Powerball at that time.
