WTF? If she had that many entries she either owns a store or spent a HELLUVA lot of money to win that measley $1000 prize. But congrats to her nonetheless. I totally forgot to enter my entries so I guess I will for the 2nd one. i think I only had one or two anyway. I've been keeping up with my purchases via Excel and up until today I had only won $5 off a $5 ticket all month after playing 3 to 4 times a week. Of course on the last day of the month I would get this, from a Walmart machine no less

was at Publix earlier and walked near the counter that handles lottery tickets - there was a guy I know waiting to cash in a ticket - Hey Bill, whatcha win ? Flashes the ticket so I could see a GREEN $20 GRC with a Gold Bar - said he just bought one ticket from the machine - arrgghh - that's were I bought about 10 yesterday

Seriously! Here's some of the crap I have over heard...... It's only 1 ticket why is it $2? What's a mega 'pliers'? Can I get a refund if my ticket doesn't win? Lines at Publix, I just get mine at the vending machine. No wait, lol.

Discarded scratch off tickets
I was grocery shopping this morning and went to the machine to buy a $2 VA game ticket. I saw a couple of scratchers with the 2nd chance logos so grabbed 2. I never buy scratchoffs. But one ticket did not have the top row of numbers to match scratched and both had unscatched prizes on the back. Well I won 0 but entered them in 2nd chance drawings. I may check the small trash can next week and do this again.

To add to something you said, there's an even easier way than the suggestion of scratching each one and scanning them out. They already have an option to activate books and settle books. All they need to do is add an option to 'destroy' (or whatever you want to call it) books. That option would only exist at the main office, or at a terminal at SG. All destroyed books get sent there. Like if I pick 1 2 3 4 5 6 and the machine draws 2 4 1 5 6 3 that means it is a winning ticket. You're absolutely correct! Now, this is where it becomes very interesting because that one particular combination must be drawn out of all the other millions that are also in the mix...and YOU must then possess that winning ticket.
