Have you ever wondered why many lottery retailers are owned by members of certain racial minorities?
Here in the Marietta, Georgia area, it has been my observation that a very large percentage of lottery retailers are owned and operated by members of certain minorities, especially people of Middle Eastern descent. I have always wondered why this is the case, haven't you? After all, northeast Cobb is primarily white, very close to or above 90%.
I have the answer for you. It is a Georgia law which disenfranchises members of the white majority. If you were to replace the words minority with the

Couple, son charged in Detroit illegal lottery
This is how the game you now know as Pick 3 originated. The bet was a nickel. It didn't pay $250 back then but it was called playing policy . It started in the ghettos and fortunes were made.
The Outfit (AHEM!) saw those fortunes being made and got in on the act and even bigger fortunes were made. Then they took it over.
Here's some info from WikiPredia:

***DANGER***
The Danger of Betting Online
(In this article I will tell you WHY you must use the WBL strategy.)
I want to write a few words about the big danger of betting online.
I am not talking about getting ripped off or not being able to get your money (I never had any problem getting my money out of my online account after a win).
The problem with betting online is that it is TOO EASY and CONVENIENT to place a bet.
Normally, when you play the numbers you have to give some

Vt. Lottery computer glitch creates extra winners
Floyd that is the worst explanation from an expert I ever heard. You re saying the software is the same on the terminals and that is true within a state. The terminals are flexible where they can be upgraded on line and be compatible for new games like Powerball or new state-wide games. No need for a technician to do it onsite. They are too cheap to pay that many people to do a cut-over state-wide. The terminals can be upgraded on-line.
You conclude that the terminals having the same software

Fooled by Randomness
truecritic,
The UCSD link you pasted doesn't work for me when I click on it in IE while viewing this page, but I was able to cut/paste it in and access it. Pretty slick little demo! The problem with alternative rules to the game is that it gives those who still can't understand [or can't admit they were wrong] why the player should switch in the original stated problem, a way to muddy the waters and deny it's the correct answer. I know; it caused me to lose a friend over it.
The one I lik

ISLAMABAD A passenger jet that officials suspect veered off course in monsoon rains and thick clouds crashed into hills overlooking Pakistan's capital Wednesday, killing all 152 people on board and scattering body parts and twisted metal far and wide.
The aircraft, an Airbus A321, crashed some 15 kilometers
The crash was so severe it would have been nearly impossible for any of the 146 passenger

Praying?
uh no. the game isn't over just because you don't like what's written in history, and your way of dealing with something you don't like is to disingenuienly try and dismiss it, in hopes that it will go away, so that you won't have to. nope.
intellectual integrity in a debate means you deal with the data placed before you, whether or not you are antagonistic toward it, or not.
you may not like bible quotes , but call them whatever you think reduces that portion of HISTORY into the archives

Auditor General criticizes Ontario Lottery top executives
Ontario's provincial Auditor General, Jim McCarter, released his 21 page report this morning which has questioned the integrity of the executives behind the OLGC.
(See link to the full report after the article.)
The report not only showed unnecessary purchases made by some of the top executives in the company, but disclosed how millions of tax payers' dollars were being used for parties, cars, trips to the spa and even hiring party planners.
The investigation began on August 31, 2009 wh

Odds are, stunning coincidences can be expected
Lotteries show that through sheer numbers, the uncanny happens; in Bulgaria, the same combination won twice in one week
History isn't supposed to repeat itself in the lottery. But earlier this month, a 1-in-5.2 million shot came through in Bulgaria, as the same six winning numbers turned up in two consecutive drawings. And 18 Bulgarians profited by betting on recent history: They chose the winning combination of numbers from the drawing four days earlier which hadn't been selected by anyone t

Big news for Internet Explorer 6/7/8 users!
Marcie,
Unfortunately AOL hides technical details from view. I'm really not sure how AOL works with IE8 or how you would see it, because I don't use AOL. Maybe an AOL user could help you out here.
Regardless, you don't have to use the AOL Web browser to view the Internet, even if you use an AOL dial-up connection.
All you have to do is connect to AOL as you normally do, and after it is connected, launch your real (non-AOL) Web browser. For example, you could use Firefox, Chrome, or even
