MM and PP
First Powerball has a cap that will hit at 339.9 million so anything above that will have to come from MM unless you want to wait a long time judging from the recent rollovers in Powerball. Second the lower sales in CA represent a big potential source of sales once the jackpot breaks the 300 million level and is all over the news. All big jackpots so far have been the result of dramatic sales for the largest drawing. Unless this is a new era of lotteries where record pots are the result of slow

Powerball Jackpot Grows to $180 Million
I am not even in a PB state so I don't buy tickets for that game anyway. I just like to see really big jackpots because of the media attention they get. Then it gets everyone playing. It just seems more fun that way. But I agree, I usually don't start buying tickets until it hits the $100 million mark. When I win the jackpot I want it to be worth it (over $50 million cash). hahaBrad

PB $88.7 million cash
$10 in one's hand can be MUCH, but $10M PB or MM jackpot might be perceived as SMALL, NOT because $10M by itself is small, BUT because it can be slightly or far less than what s/he expects from a $1 ticket when considering the extremely low chance of just 1 in about 150 millions.
Jackpot fatigue. The players know that the bigger matrix results in very large jackpots so they hold off playing $ 20/$50/$100 worth at one till there's a reasonable expectation that the drawing will res

Texas Lottery jackpot game tickets in sales decline
I recall that there was some kind of scandal in the Texas Lottery, artificially inflated jackpots. This could not have helped.Texas is the most corrupt state in the Union right now I think.

3rd Largest Jackpot In America Belongs To
Cool page. Lots of info. Can multi-winner jackpots be added? As I noticed on the NJ website, they list the number of winners. They do not give the depth your listing does.

Question
People have won jackpots in the past through lottery services like Prime Ticket Service, and they have always been able to claim their prizes, so I don't see why you would have any trouble.

Painter Hits it Big with $1 Million Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket
I play this game regularly- It is 6 numbers at the top, and 15 chances below to match any of the numbers. The one mil is indeed spelled out under one of the numbers as follows: $1,000,000 with a little onemil printed under it.If lucky enough to match it, the payout is $50K per year pre-tax for 20 years. No cash option.Best I've done so far is $200, but my father in law got $1K.I like the game, because there are 20 jackpots out there and over 11,000 prizes ranging from $1K to $50K.DD

Texas Lottery jackpot game tickets in sales decline
I'd bet gasoline prices and other economic trepidation, along with the recent newspaper attention is more a problem in Texas than it might be elsewhere. It's a long commute getting almost anywhere in Texas. Not to suggest innovation and imagination wouldn't help, but giving away products, instead of money probably doesn't qualify under either of those headings. People probably understand they could buy those kinds of things if they had jackpots of that size.Jack

All Lotteries
If I post numbers they are usually from an RNG like www.random.org. I don't think you are tiping lottery officials off at all. If the numbers look good there is a chance that someone will play them creating multiple winners should they come up. If they were going to rig the lotteries there would be far more 300 million dollar jackpots since they would get a large spike in sales by doing so.
