Hoosier Lootery
The promotional NY King Kong Millions (to be drawn December 5) will use RNG. And players have to choose cash or annuity when they PLAY, not after they win. Think about that.

How much?
brad:Thank goodness NY doesn't have an Unlucky for Life online game. However NY has numerous annuity-only scratches (including THREE versions of Lose for Life) and a Lotto game with a terrible 38%-40% payback.

How much?
AP:Thank goodness Cash 5, Texas 2-Step and Roadrunner Cash are annuity-free. If you win, it'll be in one of those games.

Annuity/record jackpot
Yeah it would be kind of contradicting to see, Annual Payments has selected a one time lump sum payment. Although it would very humorous. Better yet, Cash Only chose the annuity option.

Annuity/record jackpot
The wrong choice? Cash, you better believe if I win a huge jackpot, you will see Annuity or AP next to my name. IF I win TX Lotto or Mega Millions, you will see AP, not CVO, next to the winning ticket shown on the site.

Proposed Lot 'O Play Amendment....
The way they figure the annuity is just a way for them to inflate the jackpot amount. Higher jackpots mean higher sales and they can do that with just changing the annuitized table. If it was my job to raise as much money as possible I would do the same.Brad

You just won $310,000,000!!
Is that $310,000,000 cash or annuity? Imagine a jackpot getting to that lump sum value! I hope they never add enough balls to have to wait that long, but it would be very intriguing to say the least. I have no doubt there will be billion dollar jackpots one day, inflation always increases everything. Course that will still be nothing compared to Bill Gates and his 50 billion.

Oregon Powerball winners deny making demands for interviews
The boring winners are the smart ones.In New Jersey one must appear at a news conference. The less one actually says at such a conference the better. We had some people in this area win $213 million (annuity) in Powerball. We never hear anything about them. So much the better for them.

Probability of a Rollover in Powerball.
The powerball has rolled over and the new estimated cash jackpot is $15M. The annuity jackpot is $31M. The sales figures have not been reported as of yet on www.lottoreport.com. However it is reasonable to suppose that sales will be around $14M. If so, the probabilities for various numbers is given in the following table:090.86%18.71%20.42%30.01%
