Use digits of pool for interval points, keep things simple!!
Analyzing and tracking can be really stressful, why not keep things simple. The pool has 10 members, ie 0123456789, so use a simple concept of 'prediction interval' for each member for your next prediction. Assumption Lets assume the movement of all digits is linear(a stretch, I know ), then use recent draws to locate your intervals. Guys Just for your information. I've run some tests and here are the results. That is for 6/49 game. The aim was simple: finding out what's the break-point where at least 50% of the sample has a 6 of 6 among the x-top ranking numbers. To have a pretty reasonable sample size I skipped 10 games and went on a testing spree to get the answer. Many settings give the same results: to have a 50/50 chance you need to play the pool of 43 top ranking numbers out of the total of 49. I'm afraid

How Random is Random?
Typo I personally would like to see a serious topic devoted to the study of randomness pertaining to the lottery without the usual odds stuff. The lottery is a closed system where true random is unrestricted. Pick a number from 0 to inifinty, now that's random. Since the lottery selects from a fixed pool it's bound to produce patterns that are closly related to the pool it's self. There should of been a as between where true Should have read. The lottery is a closed system

Find a second and third digit
One should have a strategy in playing the game. It's not a magical formula that will always hit, but it's a way of creatibg reliable pools of plays from which to draw. There's as many ways to do this as you can imagine. Think of it like a net designed to trap plays. Here's one method: Take Tia's stats above. About the same percentage of time, for singles only (ignoring interrupting doubles), you will get at least one mirror digit appearing vertically as well. Now you have all the too

6/49 number % question.
For any N / R lottery and Q / R wheel the percent probability S drawn numbers are in Q wheel numbers. P(N, R, Q, S) = 100% Comb(Q, S) Comb(N - Q, R - S) / Comb(N, R) N - Lottery Pool Size R - Lottery Pick Size Q - Wheel Pool Size S - Quantity of Drawn Numbers Matching the Wheel Numbers Where Q N and S R; Comb(n, r) = n! / (r! (n - r)!); n! = n (n - 1) (n - 2) ... 3 2 1 and 0! = 1.

Very sound advice Butch...very sound and thanks for posting here. I too have my limit. I can afford to play more lines/games than I actually do. To me, the lottery is a sucker bet. I play it because I enjoy tracking NY Take5 numbers and trying to come up with a strategy that might win me some money. As for PB MM, I'm in a pool at work, but we don't play either MM or PB unless one or the other has a jackpot above 200 million. Even then, we play one drawing per week, usually the Friday nigh

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
The asterisk * is usually not a good sign for a game. It typically means one of two things: The game was shipped to the Florida Lottery in more than one shipment which happens when a very large game like the Billion Dollar Blockbuster or 100X the Cash come out. This is typically not a big deal and should not have an effect on the overall odds of a game; or The game was reordered which was the case for the 100X and many other games. This is typically a bad sign because when a game is reorder

She is correct, QP's do come in more than player pix. But there's a reason why that's true. And the reason is that 75% of all tickets sold are QP's. If you think of that in terms of a pie graph, the three quarter slice of the pie would represent the pool of the QP's that were sold. The other one quarter slice would represent the pool of player pix that were sold. So which slice of the pie do you think has the best chance/opportunity to produce the JP winning ticket? I never stop being
