$600,000 Powerball Lottery Prize Claimed by N.M. Man
Not complaining about your site Todd. I don't have time to read everything on it. Tons of data. I don't see how you have a life with all those links. I was just curious about the number.Cop5902 has a valid point I didn't think about. On large jackpots, the money is better spent on the big number, not the little number. I never bet to make second place, always first.

Mega Millions Roll Pattern 4 Todd
If this keeps up, then MM will eventually keep rolling over into maybe new records. If more people win small MM jackpots, records will never shatter again.

Mega Millions Sets A New Record
The last $170 jackpot generated about $49.4M in sales. If this one tracks that (and maybe it won't) and there is a rollover, the next jackpot should be about $220M, I'd guess. I'm sure it will take jackpots over $300M to generate lotto fever.

PowerBall Confessions, Not Tall Tales
Aye, good to see you around the forums. The exciting thing for me is that Powerball didn't change the Red Powerball matrix...still 1/42, so I feel fine using the past 304 draws as solid history. I'm not sure if the draw machine was changed??I'm holding off right now on playing PB until I can get a grip on the 5/55. Plus, MM is on its 6th?consecutive run of hitting $100m jackpots?

MM and PB jackpots
The powerball rolls of late have been under 10 million I was hoping for at least the last two rolls would have been higher than 10 million. I guess with the cost of living from day to day going up their is less for the lottery tickets. Maybe the odds going up had some players set against buying lottery until it is the large jackpots that everyone likes to play for. With it taking longer to grow I wonder if that is in the favor of the player or the lottery.

Lotto Texas - World's Worst Jackpot Game?
What that means is that they didn't really have the funds for the minimum $4 million jackpot in the last drawing, but they had to make it $4 million anyway, because that's the set minimum. They were just embroiled in a big scandal about over-inflating jackpots, so they won't be doing that anymore. If they don't have the sales to justify a higher jackpot, then they won't do it.It's hard and fast sales numbers, has nothing to do with how good the game is.

N.J. Lottery's scratch games hit $1 billion sales record
Pick-6 sales dropped 16%. No large jackpots? You would think people from NY and PA would be flocking to New Jersey to play it, since PA no longer has a classic-style lotto game.

Powerball Lottery Jackpot Jumps to $53 Million
Maybe if the jackpots start getting bigger it will become a favorite to more people. It never really mattered to me, because the odds are still against me. lol. =)

Supercomputers & Lotteries & Stocks.....
I would think that someone who had the resources of a supercomputer to pick their numbers would also have the financial resources to try for more than a box hit in a pick3 or pick4 game. I was thinking more of the lotto games with jackpots of $80M or more which don't use RNGs. Available time on a supercomputer is limited, so it not likely to be available for daily games or every jackpot drawings. For the pick3 or pick4 games, one wouldn't need a supercomputer but a fast PC with a super progr
