Indiana Resident Claims $12 Million Powerball Jackpot
He was shaking as he held my ticket, Allen said. He wouldn't even take a dime as a thank-you. He said at his business they are not allowed to accept money and he didn't want to be fired. _______________________________________________________________________Sounds like he already offered the clerk a small gratuity, which he refused. Maybe he should have multiplied that dime by a million($100K) and the clerk could have afforded to changed job if there was a problem when his boss found out he

High Court OKs Lottery Worker's Prosecution
Massachusetts' high court cleared the way Tuesday for the prosecution of a septuagenarian former Lottery worker accused of stealing money and lottery tickets from the agency. The Supreme Judicial Court overruled a lower court decision that suppressed incriminating comments made by Maxine Sneed, then 70, when she was questioned in her home in 1999 by a state police officer and a lottery investigator.Because she was not in custody, the court ruled, the investigators did not need to read Sneed her M

No winner! $96,000,000+ jackpot
Actually, it was the name we gave this guy at my old shipping job. He would whine and cry for HOURS about me, former employees that had left two years before, and everything else in the world. They finally fired his whining crying little ass. But this short lazy fat stupid ugly guy had a bigger ego then TheRock. (This is in no way an insult to the Rock!) I took the handle 'MrHappy' for myself because I know I'm a very sarcastic paranoid negitive person. The only other names I have been called (b

Cashonly!!!!!
The first thing I would do if I won a $500,000,000 jackpot would to be invest it in gold. I would build a 30 foot tall gold statue of myself. Buy a stadium so I can store it in. Put out $30,000,000+ worth of advertisements to the general public so they know that they can see my 'Golden Self' for only $999.99 a shot. Hire unemployed fired CEOs from Enron and World Com to guard my statue. I can trust people like that. If it takes more then 10 minutes worth of actual work to steal $30,000,000 worth

Former Georgia Lottery official files whistleblower lawsuit
A former top finance official with the Georgia Lottery has filed a whistleblower lawsuit claiming that he was fired after refusing to present inflated sales projections.
Kenneth Knight, former vice president for financial management at the Georgia Lottery, names the lottery and its president, Debbie Alford, in the lawsuit.
Knight argues that he was pressured by Alford and his boss to present the lottery board with flawed sales projections in April 2014. Knight says in the lawsuit that he t

How Much Cash Would You Walk Away From
Thats a tough question. Something like that actually happened to me once.
Not with scratchoffs, but the machine gave me multi-draws when I didn't mark it.
I only meant to play 30 bucks but when the machine kept printing out tickets and the clerk said $96 bucks please, I was kind of upset.
As it happens a nasty scratchhead (no offense intended) left latex all over the place and it contaminated the machine.
I was late back to work, and eventually got fired.
I pleaded with them, a

Atheist converts after mock prayer to win $1M lottery is answered
Stack47,
All the tokes on a crap table are collected by the stickman. When he gets tapped off the stick (he or she, I'm a dinosaur from the pre- stick- person days) as they go around to the base they drop the toles in a toke box.
21 dealers do the same with a box in the 21 pit.
The tokes are then gathered at the end of the shift and may be spit up pit for pit, shift for shift, or all three shifts combined.
Some crap dealers used to work table for table, each crew kept what they made.

a rumor...don imus to join a state lottery for work
I totally agree with you Rick. People need to understand that if you fire someone, then everyone who does the same or knowingly contributes indirectly should also be fired. You can't just conveniently pick and choose who will be able to say what, when and where. The PC people are now running the show, not the constitution. What a joke...here we go...more police state for you. Big brother is gonna say what is right and wrong, and who should be able to say it without recourse.
We should start w
