Florida and Claiming a Jackpot Anonymously
Right. They shouldn't have a problem putting a winners face and name on their website. To my mind the real question is do they require it?
Theoretically they could put any given winners picture that had claimed anonymously on their website after six months had elapsed, but that's IF The Florida Lottery requires winners pictures to appear on their website like New York does. It's possible they dont. And they might not even have taken the winners picture at the time the ticket was claimed beca

Florida convenience store manager arrested for stealing over $300,000 in lottery tickets
Huge theft became too big not to notice
By Kate Northrop
An employee at a Florida Lottery retailer was arrested after admitting to stealing an egregious number of lottery tickets totaling $300,000 in value.
Miami police apprehended a convenience store manager after he was ousted for his massive $300,000 lottery ticket theft.
Rakesh Tanguturi, 34, was handed charges of Organized Fraud of $50,000 or more and Grand Theft in the 2nd Degree this week, the result of a recent investigat

Money and the Crime of Kidnaping
I realize that you haven't actually threatened to go check it out
That's correct. I wrote my over the top 'gallows humor' post completely tongue in cheek. But someone could rightly challenge me by saying And Just how do I know that? My answer would be Well, you don't. But it's true. That'd be the best response I could give. A fair amount of time has passed since when Artist77 scolded me by asking if anybody else was creeped out by what I wrote, and nobody answered her (probably rhetorical)

Impact of "Free Money" on Lottery Spending
And that's IF you can buy a homeowner policy. In Florida that's not all that easy to do. Many big insurance companies won't write a homeowners policy in Florida. Those that do, charge big money and in my estimation will fight any submitted claim tooth and nail rather than pay it.
Then there's the hurricane deductible that must be by Florida law included in each and every homeowners policy. It's a separate deductible from a normal deductible. During hurricane season, June1st to November 30th,

Millionaire for Life multi-state lottery game to replace Cash4Life and Lucky for Life in February
Florida isn't on the list of states that are confirmed to offer it.
I'm in Florida, but that $5 per play horse dung don't thrill me, so it probably won't matter to me whether or not Florida does offer it.
We do have Cash4Life, but I never play it. I waste my money on other games like PowerBall. G5

Florida and Claiming a Jackpot Anonymously
Assuming FL has such a page I'd expect somebody who won $6 million, regardless of the game, to get an entry.
Because you're in New York, you'd expect that, but your expectation would be wrong. Assuming The Florida Lottery operates the same as The New York Lottery operates is a huge leap of faith.
The Florida Lottery does have such a page on their website, but I doubt a winners picture would appear on it if the winner claimed anonymously using Florida Statute 1021.51. G5

Florida woman's secret to winning $865,811 in the lottery is talking to her phone
Lottery player's strategy involves some sweet-talking
By Kate Northrop
A Florida woman won a $865,811 digital lottery jackpot in North Carolina after her personal strategy worked: give her phone some verbal words of encouragement.
A Florida resident spoke her $865,811 lottery win into existence by giving her phone positive words of affirmation during her online play.
Shirley Harvey of Naples, Florida, will talk to her phone while playing digital lottery games, something akin to a

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
I'm now the proud owner of one Florida Lottery Millionaire Raffle ticket!!
I kinda knew when I went into that liquor store that the clerk wouldn't know anything about them.....
I asked for one Florida Lottery Millionaire Raffle ticket as I put my bottle of wine on the counter.
Now, because I'm an Old Fool myself, I do make it a point to try and take pity on the old guy behind the counter. We aint got 'em. he says pointing to the scratch offs below the glass top counter. I say I aint
