New Yorker claims huge lottery jackpot amid controversy
gold:I do NOT recommend playing NY Lotto, by subscription or at the store. Playing by mail means that you are in every drawing for up to a year, including for small ($3 million) jackpots.

Maryland Lottery to replace classic Lotto game
In some ways I will be sad to see MD Classic lotto go - it was the first lottery I ever played - and I have a subscription so I play every draw. But the reality is that with Mega Millions larger jackpots available, it just isn't going to get enough interest to keep it going. As for a Win-for-life type game (or as CO puts it Lose for Life ), I might plunk down a dollar or two per drawing, but that's my choice - and if I want to play a life or annuity game - I will.

Mega Millions Sets A New Record
Not every time. When there are lower jackpots Friday's drawings do usually sell more then the next Tuesday's. I believe this is because people get paid on Friday's and its the weekend. Brad

Mega Millions Sets A New Record
The jackpots may be going up at a record rate, but players are apparently not happy with the new matrix.According to unofficial MM sales data posted at lottoreport.com, total sales dropped from about $49 million on July 22 to about $14 million on July 26, when the jackpot dropped to $12 million.Sales went up by about $855 thousand on July 29 when the jackpot rose to $15 million.Sales on Aug 2, with a jackpot of $23 million, went down about $295 thousand.Usually a higher jackpot prompts increase

Do u play numbers u predict?
Do you trust yours? Do the numbers you predict win jackpots? What others should, or shouldn't do is pretty well up for grabs on LP. But if you predict numbers on pick 5 and pick 6 and they're hitters, you must have an enormous following. Must also be a shockingly wealthy individual.I tip my hat to you.Jack

Texas Lottery has history of frequent firings
Sounds as though the black ooze is beginning to seep up through the cracks over at TX Lotto. The jackpots might suffer, but the out-of-court settlements with terminated employees might see some new highs. Once the rocks start getting kicked over and the scorpions come out from under in a courtroom under sworn testimony, all those high muckymucks under oath, ain't something anyone hungers for except the media and the public, along with those who'd like to see a rat nest cleaned out.The price of

Record Euro Millions lottery winner goes into hiding
Euro Millions jackpots are always paid as lump-sum cash, so there's no debate to be had.(Which is one of the things that makes Euro Millions such a great game!)

Lotter Winner Dead
People get killed over far less. You don't have to win a lottery to get killed over money you can work at a convenience store or just be a victim of a random crime. I for one want a large jackpot and judging from sale increases from large jackpots so do a great deal of other people. With crimes like these you just have to be carefull. Not much else you can do.
