I think there will be one, to show people you can win the smaller jackpots.

Powerball sales skid hurts lottery profits
I'm new to this, but the bigger jackpots got my attention. I prefer no jackpot winners and the impossible odds so I can sleep at night knowing it more than likely rolled over if I didn't win the big one.Now all we need is a merger with MM taking over PB for a super duper mega power billion $ jackpot at odds at least equal to the national population. Now that would be a lottery.BArry, still playing California'd SL and now MM!

PB and MM Jackpot states
I'd like to see some illegal alien from Bongo-Bongo land on the run from the US Immigration service stop and buy tickets in every convenience story from Douglas, Arizona, to Vicksburg, Mississippi, to someplace in Vermont nobody ever heard of, then back west to Butte, Montana. Every ticket a major jackpot winner, every State a winner. After he exits into Canada with his unpaid tickets he sends emails to all of us, which we wisely ignore, trying to find people to collect the jackpots and split t

Connecticut Gov. considers dumping Powerball
Some people just freak out about any change. Most players are just tired of the crummy little jackpots Powerball has been offering for a long time now. A game with the odds that Powerball has should have much larger pots instead of what would be a normal state lottery.

mega millions and powerball-which is best
I like MegaMillions best! I like the larger Jackpots they have. I'm in Texas today, and hope to win their $28m Texas Lotto.

Euro Millions at $136 million dollars!!
Yes, such a ridiculous jackpot! Wish I could get a ticket!Maybe there could be a side note on the Jackpots page that lists what the equivalent value would be if it were advertised here as pre-tax annuity, just for accurate comparison to MM and PB.

What will the current Mega run go up to?
Looks like most people were correct on the amount it would get to. Guess we will have to keep waiting (again) to see if the new matrix can generate some large jackpots. Too bad Euromillions isn't available online since it has the biggest pot and is a cash game.

Largest single jackpot winner
As the odds get longer the jackpots will get higher. For Mega Millions when was the last time there was more than one winner in a single drawing.Brad

Thanks for looking Cath, perhaps it was a different magazine, I was living in manchester at around that time, but cant recall the name of the magazine. Come to think of it , I think I only bought 1 copy! but it did advertise the pocket computer for about 200 at the time, and it mentioned the guy had won 17 jackpots with it.thanks againPaul.

170 million for Friday
Overall the roll isn't bad. Looks like three more drawings to hit 300 million or four for the record. Hope the new matrix can finally generate some decent jackpots for a change.
