$310,000 for Friday. For a 5/39 game the jackpots are really good. I guess I'll stop and get my tickets tomorrow. I might play another $7 for Friday's draw. I feel very lucky with $310,000.

NY Lotto prizes 4/30Reply
There are good things about NY Lotto. One is the jackpots that grow and grow, albeit not that fast. Another is you can cover twice as many combinations here then you can in, say, MA Megabucks (another game CO hates). The NY Lottery is rolling in dough, although most of that probably isn't going to education *cough*Vega*cough*.

Powerball will more than likely get North Carolina and Oklahoma to join which should bring some good size jackpots.I think Florida would be a perfect fit for Mega Millions..... and it would create the 4 corners along with California, New York, and Washington.It also would be the right thing to do. I like Lotto South. It's fun to play. I wish the jackpots would climb faster though. Maybe if TN and SC join it will go up 2 million or so after each drawing rather than 1 million.

I predicted 40 million when the pot was only 12 million. I think they will error on the side of caution just to see what the sales will be like for low level jackpots in CA.

Odds are I'm going to loose. Closest I ever came was off by two numbers on a Powerball. I am more frustrated that it's taken so long for these multi-state games to fix the low jackpots that they have had for a while.

NY Lotto started in 1978. Quick-pick didn't arrive until the late 1980s. Jackpots eventually did rise faster, but have slowed because of increasing disgust at the 40% maximum payback.
