A Wheel Question...
Again, you expose your innumeracy. Nope, I finally stumped you because after telling people over and over again it's impossible for anyone to make a profit playing pick-3 games you don't have an answer. The PA daily number game paid out $601 million in the last 3 years ($550,000 every day), but you're clueless as to who shared those enormous prizes. Rather than output the Equity remaining from $5000 after 5000 $1 bets, I converted to Prize Ratio notation Speaking of innumeracy, ther

North Carolina: 6/1 - 6/30/2011
I have an observation I have made while using the Grandma's Almanac and I thought I would put it out there for those that use it. In the book they use the Two Plus System and also have made the rundowns of the #'s. As I have read this I am getting that they use 246 as the # to do these rundowns (Please someone correct me if I am wrong). Well what I have noticed is on some of these rundowns there are quite a few errors in the printing bc they added a 5 to the second digit. For example here is

Does Mathematical Innumeracy foster superstitions and support the belief in them?
One of Delta Draw's points you are helping to make here is that serious attempts to focus on math or science here are thwarted through redirection. You're correct in that Innumeracy is the subject here, not Grammar. Unfortunately, the problems here go deeper than this. Up until a few minutes ago I was working on a reply to one of RL's posts wherein I made a case that he has recently acquired a ghost writer. When I finally hit the submit button, I got an error message and soon discovered that

Backtesting and Simulating Lottery Systems
I made a small modification to the Pick-3 simulation code [posted earlier in this thread] to produce output that should be more familiar to most people here. Rather than output the Equity remaining from $5000 after 5000 $1 bets, I converted to Prize Ratio notation. So, a Prize Ratio of 50 corresponds to $2500 Equity remaining in the earlier posting. Here's a screen shot of the transformed results in Excel. I wrote a throw-away program to compress the 50,000 lines of output from the simula

Gap Strategy - Conclusion
Sorry about the typo. I, of course, meant to use Gap 4 as the example. The PID for Gap 3 is L3. The 'SOP' is the important thing. I've made some G to PID errors in the past. They can be corrected if caught early. However, there isn't enough data available to know what effect they have on the selection process. I have also mistakenly used lottery numbers to generate the PIDs, an error that has to be corrected immediately. Because it involves a lot of extra work, I've se

Colorado newspaper prints wrong lottery results; couple thought they won
It pays to doublecheck those lottery numbers if you want to avoid heartache. A couple from Pueblo, Colo., found that out after they checked their tickets' numbers in the local newspaper. At first, Jim and Dorothy Sprague say, they experienced a lot of joy on Sunday morning when they looked in the Pueblo Chieftain to find that their numbers were winners. I woke up and found out we were millionaires, Jim Sprague told NBC station KOAA. In his excitement, Sprague called his children to tel

What is a lottery system? What distinguishes a lottery system from guesses, dreams and quick picks?
Jimboo-boo!!!!!!! Why did this idea arise on page 7 of the What does it take thread? It certainly wasn't me who originated the idea, but if I am in error it seems you perpetrated the possibility claiming that you pointed out something wrong in RickG's system and in fact, he thanked you for doing so. If I am wrong, I certainly apologize. Now, you may be the victim of third party who perpetrated this idea, but it wasn't me. And you may share the blame. This misunderstanding would not have o

A little something for everyone here
So CT, this was yet another thread about luck in that if you forward it, there would be some kind of monkey-mind Fegn Shui for you to cash in on?! Get real. The whole thing is a hoax and in fact a lie. You must be really scraping the bottom of the barrel to resort to this BS, Dunning-Kruger. Note that the good old non-Chinese calendar, TWO proofs/references by Raven is used. Your highlighted remark above is pure ignorant arrogant ego. You lack metacognitive ability: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/

Statistics around the balance of even/odd and small/big numbers
Jimmy Don't waste your time. You are still clueless as to what I am doing. Your above post shows that your understanding of my methods is zero. Your are going to try to post static results which mean nothing. Then maybe you will do some backtest using every drawing to prove what I already know. Here we go again, Do you know repeating yourself over and over is a sign of mental illness. You have nothing to offer here or anywhere for that matter, I am not saying the math is useless,

3/4 Cha Cha Cha More On The Missing Digit(s)
ty1996 this is incorrect. I cannot guarantee that I am going to be able to look at this thread in a timely fashion. So please do not post what you may feel is correct. I would hate to have someone play in error loose. The economic times in which we live now are very uncomfortable to say the least. As of Jan. 24 Georgia 0=0 1=2 2=0 3=1 4=0 5=2 6=0 7=2 8=0 9=3
