Roadblocks of the Non-coders
When you contract with a anyone to code a program, you should check to make sure they have the skills and knowledge to do what you want. There are lots of people who program as a hobby like myself and while their skills may be good enough for their personal need, they are not professional programmers and they may not have the skills or the time to give your project the attention you think it deserves.

Fight over lottery ticket heads to court
willie gary is really good so even if his client is lying he may still win the case. i wouldnt want to be in this situation they are in so i wouldnt ask anyone to buy me tickets again and i hope no one else asks me to buy tickets for them unless we sign a contract and then get it notarized.

splitting the jackpot prize with family members.
Uff Da doesn't need a contract. Since the notary is insisting on aspecific legal form I'm assuming it's an affidavit. An affidavit is simply a sworn statement of facts, as the person making the affidavit believes them. The only purpose of the document is to establish an intent to make a gift of the ticket(s) before the drawing takes place, so Uff Da is simply swearing that any tickets that are bought will be shared. Since Uff Da is only making a gift, and isn't required to make that gift,

Michael Vick = Prison
You are correct, in the assessment on animals, but I believe , he will get a minimum of 2 years. The judge in this case is very firm. NFL will suspend him for a minmum of 1 year, and the Falcons owner will get rid of him. I doubt, he will ever have another endorsement contract. After all of this, he still will not have learned his lesson. He is a complete idiot, like his brother.

i have never heard of that story before rjoh but that is really interesting that they thought a verbal contract would be upheld in court. most people say things and promise things without thinking about how much money that actually is they are promising to giveaway...

Florida Lottery won't pay $500,000 winner, called 'misprint'
Your opinion may or may not match the law depending on the circumstances, but a lottery ticket is a product, not a contract. All the law says about defective products is that the merchant or manufacturer has to repair or replace them.

winTrack.com
Actually it was offered at 199 bucks, but he slashed the price, because of some limited contract with Wintrack, and is supposedly going up once a certain number of copies are sold.

Penn. woman sued by former friend over lottery win
This story wasnt well detailed . A shame that a lawyer will end up getting more then the folks in battle for it. I could care less what the guys past was... It should have centered on the evidence of this supposed contract between the two....

You buy a 2line ticket to pool with 1 person but they don't pay the $1
No, the agreement was to pay me the 1 buck BEFORE the end of their shift if they wanted in. I think the person knew they didn't have a dollar from the beginning and thought I would front them. The agreement was also that they would sign the back of the ticket next to my name when they paid the dollar thus making the contract complete.
