Buying an entire roll of NY Scratch offs that offer a one million prize
I bought a full unopened pack of The New York Lottery's $5 scratch offs which cost $500. (100 in a pack) They served as the prize for a 100 square pool I ran at work. I bought a newly introduced scratch off game, so I was pretty sure that there were top prizes still available. The guy who won them told me he won a total of $210 dollars. He actually won $200 because he bought two squares of the 100 squares in the pool. Each square cost participant's $5. The only other thing I can add to

Does this hold weight in court?
In response to the Thread question- Absolutely Not. Which begs the question why? l am no lawyer but.. Numbers are classified as public domain. Two: It is NOT intellectual property. Three: It falls under fair use. ** Case in point : James Cameron had an avalanche of lawsuits filed against him for what some writers claimed was Idea theft for the movie Avatar. All of those claimants Lost in court even though they claimed that an idea here and there in the movie could or may have come

Texas legislature to consider lottery winner anonymity bill
Venom, while you point out concerns of something that might happen. That's where you would normally get an atty. and have them do the due diligence anyway. Fraud and the DUI and theft are all crimes that are public and can be prosecuted. The prosecutor does not reveal anyone's financial status to the victim unless it is part of the discovery to be used in that case. As far as a DUI and the paralysis, Civil tort claims have a 2 year statute of limitations to them and almost all crimes have a stat

Pay for tickets w/ credit card? NYC promotions
Hello everyone. I was wondering if it is possible in your state to pay for lottery tickets using a credit card. That way your purchase is linked to your identity and should you ever need proof of purchase this would help you. In the UK this has kept cheaters from redeeming prizes they would have stolen. Also sometimes people use store loyalty cards and this prevents theft too. (Tesco clubsmart for example). I was also wondering where I can find out which promotions are running in t

5 Star Rating System
IF you have permission from a website, you can copy and paste an image directly into a post. That's often called hotlinking and unless you have permission, it's theft and is also often copyright infringement. The best thing to do is create an account at an image hosting site, upload the graphic you want to post in here and use the HTML code supplied by the site in your post. I use Photobucket, but there are other sites other people like better. Here's an article that lists a few: Five Best Image

Career cover story after winning the lottery?
Good one Poo Nanny. ________________________________ I would tell them that I finally got a patent on my prescription windshield invention for drivers who don't want to wear glasses or contacts. I would add to that the auto insurance companies are paying me bonuses because the prescription windshields really cut down on auto theft!

Now accepting Bitcoin payments
Bitcoin is not without its risks and scandals. I've been following the Mt. Gox Bitcoin scam/scandal/hack/etc and this illustrates one problem for Bitcoin. From the wiki: Mt. Gox was a Bitcoin exchange based in Tokyo, Japan. It was launched in July 2010, and by 2013 was handling 70% of all Bitcoin transactions. In February 2014, the Mt. Gox company suspended trading, closed its website and exchange service, and filed for a form of bankruptcy protection from creditors called minji sais
