Illinois Gets raffle
Rick Suffice it to say I'm a 'wee bit' south of you - (closer to Nashville, TN than Chicago!) We go to the store today and there's a flyer for the Raffle on the scratcher vending machines. OK, they're not selling the tickets from the machine. So we ask the clerk who sells the lottery tickets about raffle tickets, and she says, What raffle tickets?

Dowsing for winning Scratch Tickets
I buy my tickets at the same couple of places, usually on my way to work. Same 'regulars' in there all the time. Everyone has there own method ; one woman likes tickets that have a lot of red in them, one guy goes for any game based on 7's, some folks like the ones based on a deck of cards, and so forth. If the clerk doesn't mind you standing there for a few minutes it's as good a method as any. In VA there are two ways to buy-from the counter and vending machines., so dowsing would be a pro

Dowsing for winning Scratch Tickets
jusme Not nay-saying the dowsing or such things, but since all you can see is the top ticket available in a counter or vending machine, I find this to be a bit of a reach, unless you mean the type of ticket and not a specific individual ticket. Since tickets are often sold in convenience marts it would be no surprise if a store manager saw someone just hanging around the ticket display and figured they were up to no good, as Bazooka Joe mentioned.

Never did this before
No, actually I do work on the casino floor. When one of my players hits a jackpot for $2,000, I'm not going to look them up in player tracking to see that they lost $3,000 today, prior to that one spin, and then go over there and say oh hi Krystal I see you've LOST $1,000 today! Get a grip. When someone wins $2,000 on a slot machine, that one spin is a winner. I do get sore winners who whine that they've lost $3,000 in order to win $2,000 just now. That's their problem. Tables does the

I'm done playing the lottery
I've spent $200 on PB tickets and plenty of money on scratch-off tickets at the vending machine at Safeway on Wadsworth 38th Ave in Wheatridge, CO. I didn't win very much, which I expected given the prize structure of that game. The last time I went there, I scanned $40 worth of winning scratch-off tickets, selected 8 $5 tickets, and when I hit check out , the machine did nothing. I asked the clerk and she told me to contact the Colorado Lottery. I did, and their response was that the retail

MegaMillions ticket reprint fraud by a store associate?
I'm in Florida. I've no idea if Florida Lottery software has reprint functionality included in it or not. This is the first time I've ever heard of such a thing, but I can see why it might be necessary and potentially have a positive use(s). I might ask a few clerks here in Florida if they've ever heard of it, or maybe I'll just send an email to The Florida Lottery and ask them if they have reprint functionality in the software. (I might even do both!) I'm also wondering if the ability to re
