Illinois legislator urges Gov. to fire company running the lottery
Northstar disagrees, says revenue targets met
Citing nearly three years of lackluster performance, an Illinois state lawmaker is urging Governor Pat Quinn to fire the company his administration hired to run the Illinois Lottery.
State Rep. Jack Franks, D-Marengo, said the state's contract with Northstar Lottery Group has cost taxpayers hundreds of millions in lost revenues due to the firm's failure to meet revenue goals.
The privatization of the Illinois State Lottery has been nothing

Mathematics and the Lottery
Lotterybraker
You took the only record of lottery digit history is the pairs out of context.
I was writing about substitution where, in practical terms, the winning lottery digits drive the workout.
The action is by the 'substitute digits' which are divided into three major groups.
The only record needed of winning combinations is one that tracks the lottery digits.
There are NO mathematics because the workout is based on tracking charts and data TRENDS.
There are no whol

Pa. lawmaker wants to give lottery winners right to remain anonymous
Well, 'bro', since you evidently live in California, consider this information useful after you win the MM later tonight.
From the California Lottery 'Winners Handbook'---
According to public disclosure laws, your name
is public record. The name and location of the
retailer who sold the winning ticket, the date you
won, whether your numbers were a Quick Pick
or your own numbers and the amount of your
winnings are also matters of public record and are

Pa. lawmaker wants to give lottery winners right to remain anonymous
A Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, lawmaker unveiled legislation Friday that would allow lottery winners to keep their identities hidden from the public.
State Rep. Ted Harhai, D-58, Monessen, said he believes the proposal would help lottery winners avoid the pitfalls that have plagued many past prize winners, from alleged murder attempts to thefts and scams.
I think providing this option is necessary, Harhai said in a statement. In particular, multi-state lottery jackpots can reach int

Arizona Lottery winners could soon remain anonymous
Those who hit the jackpot in Arizona pay a heavy price when it comes to their privacy, because their names are a matter of public record.
That's no different than a vast majority of states in the U.S.
But if House Bill 2082 makes it through the Arizona Senate, jackpot winners would be able to remain anonymous.
Sen. Steve Gallardo, D-Phoenix, is one of a minority of senators opposed to the measure.
It is a state agency. They're dealing with public dollars, and the public has the righ

Hello Stoopendal:
Congratulations for the updates to the program.
I have thougt in a possible filter update, which already other good programs have, based in the previous drawings.
It consists in: To say it to the program that of the combinations that it offers us, should reject those who have X common numbers with previous drawings.
For example:
1) There will NO be 5 equal numbers in any combination that offers us the program, respect of the record of drawings.(In any position)

2012: What a year for Lottery Post!
Now that 2012 is in the rearview mirror, it's a perfect time to look back and see how we did here at Lottery Post a kind of annual report for Lottery Post.
First, I am happy to report that the upward trend in the site's popularity continues to expand and improve. With a marketing budget of exactly $0.00, Lottery Post has expanded its traffic volume every year of its 13 years in existence. (It will officially be 13 years on May 31, 2013.)
Here are the official stats for 2012, as reported by
