Unlucky for Life Mon-Thu
No, the real name is Lucky For Life. You see, CO is a cash zealot, and thinks games with annuity-only payouts should not be offered. I see you're new here.

cash vs. annuity
Totally a lump sum on a $400 million JP, though I take lump sum no matter the amount. The larger the JP, the more I can make it grow faster than what the annuity would deliver.

Texas Lottery considers changing jackpot calculation
I know. It's deceptive advertising. They don't even tell you it is annuity when they advertise it. I think this is the only country where this is in practice. Most every country has all-cash lotteries.

'Blue Game' to start in October?
Hot Lotto is even more similar to Powerball than the Blue Game is. At least the Blue Game draws 2 extra balls (let's call them Blue Balls) as opposed to 1, and has both annuity and cash prizes for matching 5. I really hope this game is televised. Will Mike Pace have double duty? Well they use the Hot Lotto machines (former Powerball machines)? Will it be played everywhere Powerball is?

cash vs. annuity
This shows how little you know. The point of the annuity is that YOU, the winner, gets the interest, which is how they arrive at such a high jackpot amount. Not the lottery. You have a lot to learn, young one.

cash vs. annuity
i'd still rather take the lump sum instead of having to deal with the lottery corporation every year on annuity for 30 years, what would happen if the lottery suddenly ran into problems 10 years down the road?
