Had the December 29, 2010 Hot Lotto game not been allegedly rigged ... So it's safe to believe that the official position of MUSL is that Tipton isn't guilty beyond a reasonable doubt? I'm sure his attorneys will be very glad to hear that.

I too believe they are going to be hit with a lot of lawsuits. I'm waiting for them to be hit with either a class action suit or a civil suit, that represents the Iowa every day players. This is going to get very interesting. Tipton his friends won jackpots . Top prizes over time again again. Which means the Iowa's every day players get rip- off again again. This lottery integrity when down the drain the minute this story became national news. Every day players should been real salty about this.

Exactly. They gave the hen house keys to the top fox, then they wonder why he's getting fat. No over sight, and apparently no independent audit. And of course Iowa legislators were satisfied with the investigation (BY TIPTON!), they have no idea what they are doing most of the time anyway! That $16.3M should be awarded to the next legitimate winner after the rigged drawing. Hopefully, this will get rid of RNG's for good.

We all should be rooting for Mr. Dawson to win this lawsuit as it might just spell the beginning of the end of RNG. Given that the Tipton winning ticket was produced through fraudulent means, that jackpot should be awarded to subsequent rightful winner instead of being distributed into state coffers.

The jackpot will probably be over $1 billion in cash, Tipton was found guilty rigging the Hot Lotto game, was caught because Iowa requires the identity of whomever bought the ticket, yet we still have LP members who apparently can't comprehend why at times the identity of the winner is necessary.

Does anyone remember the TV show Early Edition? It's where the main character, Gary gets the next day's paper a day early. In Early Edition, season 1, Episode 5 the show deals with something similar to what happened with what Eddie Tipton did to rig the computer generated lottery numbers.
