...another discovery about lottery numbers
In the last 9 Mega Millions drawings, $170,960,727 worth of tickets were sold and estimated cash jackpot for the next drawing is $64.3 million. And that number is base on expected sales of another $25 to $30 million on the next drawing. After subtracting the approximate number of secondary prizes from the $132.5 million if the jackpot is hit, gives us an ballpark figure of how much the game will profit and it should be at least $60 million.
It's possible a couple of tickets were sold in one

Can Anyone create a program for pairs using excel
Here is an Excel program that will track Pairs.
I found the code on techonthenet.
Made some modifications.
1. I used 5/22 Game. (You will need to adjust the number of balls by changing the charts and drawing files)
2. Used 500 Random drawings for a 5/22 game (You can aadjust by adding/deleting or pasting your own draws in the appropriate Tab)
Here is the download link:

Random Generation of Quickpicks
Todd, my question to you is? Instead of signing a petition to eliminate computerized drawings, why not go on the legality of the game being rigged? What I mean is this: if any game of any type is seeded then it's rigged! Below is a quote from that past posting in that thread above.
This is actually a pretty technical subject. Basically speaking, in the world of computers, there is no way possible to create a truly random number. Computers are built to be precise machines, and randomness is

Personal Numbers
Exactly, Brad.
I've said all along you can be off by one on each number, or off by ten on each number, a loss is a loss.
On another website, I predicted last night's game to be either two groups, or three numbers from one group would
hit, and that's exactly what happened - 42-43-48. (not another 'no group' or 'single group' game). I usually post my thoughts on
my 'blogs' here on LP. I don't predict numbers, I do predict types of games, FWIW.
Before anyone says it, I have num

Are Lotteries Rigged
Didn't know this thread existed and I see it has been around for a while now. As far as whether or not lotteries are rigged , I voted Maybe. Then I read every post since this thread began. I don't think the word rigged would truly describe what I or anyone else might believe that didn't outrightly vote NO. A better word would be controlled . In a sense, we know the lotteries are controlled. Changing ballsets and machines are a method of control. Shutting down terminals one to two hours

Tenn. lottery chief keeping mum about several key questions
Tennessee lottery CEO Rebecca Paul is keeping quiet on several significant lottery issues, including why she wants to contract with a single vendor for lottery goods and supplies instead of splitting up the business among several vendors. In an interview with The Tennessean earlier this week, Paul was questioned about language in the request for proposal (RFP) sent to vendors stating that it is the desire of the Tennessee Education Lottery Corp. to select a single vendor able to provide a compreh

My pick5, pick6 and bonus ball system
With my system I use data from previous lottery drawings to pick my numbers. I play all the possible numbers in the core combinations(the basic 5 or 6 number combination) so in a 649 game I would play at least 9-10 lines to cover all 49 numbers, however if the combinations included a bonus number, I would be a little more selective for that one number. I have never won a jackpot with this system, but I did match 5 of 6 in Ohio649P last year. That is the best I have done so far, and overall

comparison of PB and MM
Because these two games have different prices, in order to compare the two games, let's say I wish to spend $10 (the smallest amount with which I can buy a whole number of tickets for either game). I am only considering PB with no multiplier for $1 extra. Personally, I consider the multiplier option a waste of money. If I want to spend more money on lottery tickets, I'll just buy more of them.
For $10, I can buy 2 MM tickets, or I can buy 5 PB tickets.
Both games have similar probabiliti

Monty Hall Problem and Implications Explained
The Monty Hall problem is a famous case study in the application of Probability, specifically the concept of Conditional Probability. In simple terms Conditional Probability is the probability that something will occur given the additional information that something else has occurred. If something else is known to have occurred, it may or may not affect the probability of something .
Examples of the probability of something not being affected by something else are (a) the outcome of the n-t
