I stumbled across a betting technique that's put a smile on my face but not in the way you'd expect. Might be a fluke, but I thought I'd pass it along here in case somebody else wants to try it. Find one of the full service lottery vending machines that prints out Fast Play and draw game tickets. You'll want something in a not-too-busy store because you'll be on the machine for a couple minutes.
I fill out my betting slips in advance and put a couple dollars more in the machine than the bet

Clerk Prints Tickets Wrong @ $54 Loss to me
I am going to give you some free advice, because if you are going to play lottery, you are going to have LOTS of aggravation from MANY places.
NEVER EVER mark your playcards where people scratch their junk. NEVER put your play cards on the counter without making sure it is pristine! Put at least two cards under your card that you are filling out to give you some buffer from the counter flotsam.
Somebody above showed an OHIO playcard where you can play ten consecutive games. In my crappy R

Post your scratch ticket results
Darn ZZ--I'm sorry to hear about this string. . .
Let the ticket come to you, perhaps in lieu of you actively searching for it? I had a weird situation once at a vending machine where I planned on buying 4 Lotteria tickets. I am such a cheap snip --who in the hell puts $8 into a machine and not $10? Well I did. LOL
So somehow the machine popped out one of the older crossword games, Platinum Crossword. I swear I didn't push the wrong button. Anyway, I end up having to get 2 Lotteria ticket

Man vs Machine, which do you prefer?
I guess I'm in the minority here: I prefer humans. Maybe I'm just old fashioned.
Maybe its because the clerks that I encounter here are better, and the old crappy machines we have here worse.
I think it depends where you go. Liquor and specialty stores usually have regular established clerks and they know what they're doing. Gas stations and convenience stores often have kids or trainees and aren't always up on things. And grocery stores don't have a clerk, they only have machines.
I've

Have self-serve lottery machines, but can't pay out any tickets? (Rite-Aid in Ohio)
I better stay away from those lottery machines if I ever see them.
I have no tolerance for anybody or anything not holding up their end of a bargain.
If I give a person or machine money in exchange for a product or a service, I expect to get it.
I'm sure the winning tickets bought from that machine tell you that you won MONEY - not CREDITS to buy more tickets.
I have sent a number of newspaper vending machines and payphones to meet their maker for ripping me off in the past.
I'd b

Winning at NY Take 5
While I was at work this morning, I showed a buddy of mine my winning PB ticket and told him I was going out at lunchtime to cash that sucker in. There's a Hess station right up the road from work, so that's where I figured I go.
My buddy then says, They sold a million dollar scratch-off winner in there last week. I hadnt heard that, so I was a little surprised.
So out I go at lunchtime to The Hess station. I get my 12 bucks from The PB ticket, and I asked the clerk about the million dolla

Automatic Lottery Machines - safe?
The lottery vending machine is connected to the state lottery's central computers via a computer network. That is the only way the machine can sell Powerball or Mega Millions tickets. The ticket information has to be recorded in the central computers before the ticket can be sold and dispensed by the machine.
Most states and countries have privacy laws that dictate what personal information can be stored and for how long. I recommend you phone your state lottery office and ask for an answer i

Arkansas Lottery needs vending machines, Director says
For the Arkansas lottery to increase revenue from year to year, the lottery's director told commissioners Wednesday that they will have to approve the use of ticket-vending machines.
Director Ernie Passailaigue said businesses are seeking ways to cut labor costs, and automating the lottery is an important way to boost sales and help vendors save money.
This is the future of lottery, Passailaigue said.
A handout picture of one of the machines shows an array of ticket choices -- from Pow

Indiana man says store cost him $11.5M lottery jackpot
I understand why Charles Andrews is upset, he knows what #s he would have played, he wrote them down on the playslip, and all 6 would have matched (HIS personal lightening would probably have struck)! That HURTS greatly, and he is probably upset with himself that he waited too long for a person with a disability to get to a backup lottery ticket retailer in case of problems with the first! I've had the same thing happen to me. Unfortunately, the store that he went to support, via purchasing an I

How about a new entry:
I was in line and got shut out ofc the drawing because;
The person in front of me was;
Sending a Western Union Buying cigarettes Buying scratchers and scratching them at the counter (I see this often) Flirting with the clerk Filling a lot of playslips out Playing a lot of tickets and wanting to just tell the clerk the numbers (I see this one a lot too....some stores here have a sign telling people more than three tickets requires a playslip) Stroking the clerk in
