10 Second Prizes in Washington
Quote: Originally posted by biglooooser on February 19, 2005I almost came close to winning the jack pot another 12 times, is that Luck too? Biglooooser,Almost everyone in here got a few stories about the jackpots they almost won, that's why they keep playing. It's not luck unless you actually win a jackpot, almost coming close doesn't count. Good luck to you.RJOh

Best Pick 5 Game.
Quote: Originally posted by qutgnt on February 18, 2005 I agree PA take 5 is best. Decent pays on 4 out of 5 and jackpots that get high quick with the rollovers. Illinois Little Lotto is horrible with its 100 payout on 4 out of 5 and only rolls at about 75k a clip. That's the great thing about Cash 5 in PA. Even though it's pari-mutuel, you're certain to get a good payday if you win.

Powerball up only 2 million
Plus with the really poor jackpots sales have been droping. Only by one to two million but still a decrease. Looks like they need to change their game. What's interesting is that now mega has more sales at lower jackpot amounts than powerball. Sales even droped below 10 million. First time since 2003 it' has done that.

powerball and mega millions
I'd go with Mega Millions. Their jackpot seems to increase alot faster than Powerball. Powerball likes to push the fact that they have a multiplier ball. I personally think paying an extra dollar to do PowerPlay is a waste of money, I'd rather have another line of numbers. So basically, both games are the same to me except MM's gets bigger jackpots and thats why i'd chose them.

Californians react to Mega Millions decision
I know the pool I run and I will continue to play no matter what the change is as well. In fact, if the jackpots get over $100 million more frequently, I'll be able to increase the members of the pool. I can't seem to get anyone but the die-hard regulars interested unless the jackpot is 9 figures.

Ever played a jackpot run that dragged on
Quote: Originally posted by JAG331 on February 15, 2005 I enjoy playing when jackpots never seem to get hit. It's like an added bonus, even though your numbers weren't drawn, you get another shot at an even higher amount the next time.

New version of Powerball in 2005?
I hope not. The jackpots are rolling about right and we've had a few winners our here in DE. They would have to add another state

Ever played a jackpot run that dragged on
I'm playing Quinto now. The last record jackpot was 2.8 million. Now it's 4.09 million (for a pick 5 game no less). It just keeps dragging on and on. No one seems to win it. I have been there before with Washington's lotto plus and Oregon's megabucks I was wondering how other players feel about jackpots that just don't ever seem to be hit.
