Mega Millions lottery to introduce changes when California joins game
I saw the same report as Cashonly. http://www.lottoreport.com/2updates.htmI have no idea how accurate it is though. I personally am not holding my breath that they will have the foresight to change the game until at least a year of poor sales due to low jackpots.

Florida is next.
Florida is really missing out on alot of revenue and with California joining Mega Millions there will be 40 states who belong to a multi- state lottery. I would like to see Florida join and you will see jackpots bigger than $400 MILLION Mike

$20 Million Lotto South Jackpot Is Sixth Highest Ever
i would like to see the following states join lotto south:TN, SC, WV, FL, LA, MD, and DE.They all appear to be having some trouble supporting an in-state Lotto game (except FL, for the most part), and they can really make the jackpots grow.

Mega Millions lottery to introduce changes when California joins game
I think CA demanded some changes to insure big jackpots - since New York and Texas have come on board we have not seen very many really big ones. I think it will be a matrix change to make the odds longer.

Mega Millions lottery to introduce changes when California joins game
Wonder if they're going to expand the playing field to 5 out of 80, and for the mega ball 1 out of 80 or something equally lame????? Sure it drives the jackpots up, but discourages small players like myself who don't win anything small to take my few $$$$ elsewhere to other states lotteries.

Mega Millions lottery jackpots will get bigger, quicker
Quote: Originally posted by dvdiva on February 10, 2005Odd they said the same thing after Texas joined. It's like if you repeat the same lie over and over they think it will become the truth. The big 363M pot they keep talking about was before New York, WA and TX joined (along with some other states)What are you talking about?! Texas cranked up the jackpots for MM, and now they grow faster than Powerball!

Mega Millions lottery jackpots will get bigger, quicker
Have the jackpots for the first 10 drawings following a winner increased since Texas joined? Does anyone have statistics on that? Also, does the lottery release what percentage of the total possible number combinations are covered per drawing? It would be very interesting to see the average number of combinations covered with CA and TX in the game vs. before.

What happened to the jackpots on the left
fja,CO didn't become one of the top posters by reading other posts. I didn't use PlayLot services after MM came to Ohio, but I did liked seeing the MM and PB jackpots on the left of the page. RJOh

CALIFORNIA JOINS MEGA MILLIONS
Actually it hasn't been to bad with the inclusion on Texas. I mean they have only had 1 jackpot winner. And the rate of the jackpots do get higher quicker. So it will be interesting. Yet with California's population we will finally have more people in the 12 states that play the game than combinations that are available for the game. They will change it. They need to change it.Brad

Mega Millions when CA joins
I hear some talk that the jackpot will be lower. At the same time I read several articles saying jackpots will potentially be as high as $200-$300 million. One article said a $400 million jackpot certainly is possible for Mega Millions with California on board. Here's just one article http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/national/apus_story.asp?category=1110 slug=California%20LotteryWhat's the real deal?
