If there is one thing l have noticed over the years, it is this. No winner that l can remember, has said that they have wagered hundreds of dollars in order to win the jackpot. Going back to hot sauce gf, l think she used 4 lines. The Smith family from NJ, under $10. The recent winning pool from San Jose, 11people chipped in $2.00 a piece. My point? That it does not require a player to purchase lots of tickets in order to win. So quibbling about it's not high enough etc etc at the price of $2.00

It is indeed the great state of Alaska that i reside. Although we don't have a lottery here I am part of a lottery pool that buys tickets out of Viriginia and I also have a friend that sends me tickets from Florida with advance drawings. In Florida you can play about to 52 drawings on the same ticket or 6 months at a time. Got 4 out of 6 numbers a few times but still trying to hit 6/6. Hopefully one day. Like the say You can't win if you don't play!

Well there is a story behind this one. On Friday, my co-worker and I had $130 left in our prize pool from the previous monopoly roll we bought over a month ago. We decided to spend it after work on Friday. I suggested 5 $20 tickets and one $30 ticket. My co-worker (rightfully) believes the 100X is a bad game and opted for 6 $20 tickets and 1 $10 ticket. I went along with him and we got $25 back from $130 spent. I decided to go back and buy the $30 ticket with my own money just for the heck of it

Proof it was WAY TOO EASY for the California MM winner to win
In the last MM drawing I bought my own tickets and also participated in a large pool where 200 tickets were purchased between 20 individuals. We all won a grand total of $0. Landed no winning numbers. It was way too easy for the winner in California. I guess they didn t purchase Powerball tickets because it rolled last night lol

That has always been my argument. The higher the jackpot the more the frenzied appeal reaches into the pool of rare players and then deep into the population of people who will be playing for the first time. What drags them out is a record jackpot. As much as we get excited about 500m, non players want to see new records every time or they just sit out. People appreciate the odds more than we care to admit. They see the long lines and at the end of the day only one winner comes up.

Thanks for the reply. The pool I m in is limited to 8 players and we each throw in $60 so the potential to play a single set of numbers many times over is there. We re in eastern NY near the Mass border (about an hours drive) so the thought of a group subscription appeals to us. But all 8 of us want The Mass Lottery to withhold taxes and divide the remainder amongst us. All 8 are willing to provide the Mass Lottery with SSN s because it s a subscription. G5

Thank you Sir! I don't like picking randomly out of the entire pool of 6,360 but until I get a better handle on the methodology for picking numbers from the 001, 002, and 003 pools, I figure this is better than nothing.

The pick 3 pairs isn't always for the next draw, but it usually falls within 1-4 days..Also if you mirrored the original pairs the system comes up with and add them to your pool, the hit ratio, after back testing was a little better..yes its a little more pairs to play or watch for, but within 1-4 days for Washington state, the pair usually drops. LOVE TO SEE IF YOU EXCEL IT THIS WAY TO SEE THE STATS.....i DONT KNOW MUCH ABOUT EXCEL, BUT IF YOU CAN CREATE A down loadable PROGRAM FOR THIS WORKOUT
