Is it worth driving one hour to state that allows anonymity?
I live in a state where you can play Powerball and Mega Millions. However, the state I live in does not allow lottery winners to remain anonymous. There are two neighboring states that allow anonymity for lottery winners. But one state is an hour and half away. The other state is over 2 hours away from me. Here is my question. Is it worth driving to either state to play a large number of lottery tickets with those odds for the sake of remaining anonymous?

It's anonymous in most European countries, including Norway. A few winners go public anyway, and the lottery company use them for advertising.

The NH information is correct. NH already made it fairly easy to stay anonymous by using a trust, but the woman signed her own name on the ticket. Many lotteries say they're required by law to release information about winners, but in NH that was just the lottery's interpretation of requirements under the state's open records law and not a law that actually says lottery winner's names have to be released.
