Price and prize changes coming this Sunday for Illinois Lotto
By Todd Northrop
Citing the success of the multi-state lottery games like Powerball and Mega Millions offering jackpots in excess of $100 million every other month, the Illinois Lottery has decided to revamp one of its original games, Lotto, in order to give lottery players a chance at potentially bigger jackpots and better overall odds.
Starting Sunday, July 14, 2013, Lotto will cost $1 for each game-set, up from a price of $1 for two game sets. The higher price will enable larger jackpot

Pre-Test
Here is extract from Texas Lottery website game info for Powerball.
Drawings are broadcast each Wednesday and Saturday at 10:12 p.m. CST. Ticket sales are not available during Draw Break, from 9:00 - 10:15 p.m.
If sales are cut off at 9 p.m Texas time, I'm certain all other states must also cease sales at least one hour before the drawing.
If someone can buy a ticket 15 minutes before a drawing, something is screwed up somewhere.
It doesn't seem fair if some states can sell

Sweet Millions buy 5 get 3 free for January!!
actually i hate this promotion...because i see my budget going from $10 a draw to $80 a draw...best cold number is 19 so jada if you are gonna pull a big wheel then thats your number...and now is the time...hit it big while there is still a calm before the storm.
based on stats it should hit within three drawings...
you could insure a key power number wheel without the 19 with just all small skips...and maybe a ten skip....
at a skip of 28 days it is a must play...
so far the ma

There is no logical reason to test a wheel using all 56 wbs and all 46 bonus for coverage
what? first the guy says for several posts that the only way is to do it that way. now, because he doesn't want to do it, he has verbage interruptus majorus
why do people put themselves thru integrity schizophrenia needlessly?
Patrick mentioned Maddog's Challenges are the real tests and I agree
i bet you do, stack. hey, you go do it, because i refuse . lol

Top 10 "Reasons" why the Powerball Lottery is a scam...!
Reason 1.) The odds are 1 in 195,249,054
Where can I find any game of chance where the odds are in the players favor? Do you really expect any gambling house to hand players millions of dollars every time they bet a dollar?
When the jackpot exceeds the game odds like it did on Wednesday, isn't that a good bet?
Reason 3.) Its flat out deceit to make the claim that the lotto commissions pays out vast sums of money to winners when most of the winners take thier money and re-play the ver

Top 10 "Reasons" why the Powerball Lottery is a scam...!
Everyone loves to play the powerball especially when they see the pot grow to multi-millions,however there are hidden factors that most people fail to realize and these factors point to the Powerball as being nothing less than a scam..
Reason 1.) The odds are 1 in 195,249,054
Reason 2.) Unless every possible combination is played which is 195 million + you cannot have a 99.9% Degree of Certainty...this also means its to the lotteries advantage to print out duplicate tickets where there is

N.J. Lottery to end live broadcast of midday drawing
I am so peeved that New Jersey is doing this how can they not understand that viewing the live drawings is more important to their credibility than a few measly dollars. Money well spent if it means more people will play. I and many of my friends will refuse to play the lottery if we cant see live drawing on the TV stations broadcast at the specified times. Jersey folks should contact the lottery and complain about this action and try and get it reversed.
Here's my beef with Maryland lo

Texas Lottery confirms that Quick Picks are not generated by "central computer"
You're not kidding when you say it is a short note. They couldn't give us any more detail and assurance than that? I know your goal was simplicity, here, but don't you think some of us are a little more curious than that?
I am one of the die-hard theorists who argue there is a central computer which is manipulating the numbers. I know they don't want everyone to know that....I'm not stupid. It's not something they are going to broadcast for the simple reason that people wouldn't want to play
